WHAT?!! Someone posted a link not long ago showing Ray Park had an appearance in England and another in Phila during those weeks.
Can I possibly be THAT LUCKY??? I usually am very lucky, but this would be the icing on my trip!! DNeph15 and I LOVED Ray when we used to go to SWW years ago and I was really hoping to share the experience with DGrD9 this year. :woohoo: ( We lined up our last day at the crack of dawn and missed meeting him by just a few people because we had to leave for the airport before our FP time).:sad1:
And Warwick is awesome, too!! Very funny man - delightful host when we saw him!!:banana:
Where is the official announcement posted so I can allow myself to feel the ultimate joy of this info!!:dance3:

How do the fastpasses for autographs work? Can you get more than one at a time or is it like the ride fastpasses?

If they do the same as last year. You only get one per person. They will put a wristband about 1 hour before giving out fastpasses. Then they give you the fp with a time to come back. It's not linked to the attraction fp. Do not take the wristband off until they cut it off after you get your autograph. They give the fastpasses outside the turnstiles before the park opens. The celebs will have their black and white pictures if you don't bring anything for them to sign. They will sign almost anything, action figures, posters, clothing, calendars. Also it doesn't have to be SW related. The last time Warwick Davis came he signed our Harry Potter DVD's

Was just coming on to tell you guys about Clone Wars. The series is cancelled, but it will continue in some form according to Disney. James Arnold Taylor said on his blog Dave Filoni (director of Clone Wars episodes) will without a doubt be coming to SWW. Guess we can add a celebrity to the list.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..my DS will be crushed when I tell him this!princess:

Sometimes I hesitate to post before official confirmation but it was on the HUB so I felt confident. I have to say that I love this years logo

Yeah it's nice but I'm partial to Duck Maul. ;)

Sad to say I don't think I'll make it this year, but I'll be very close. Gonna be in Epcot that first Sunday, but we have some in-laws joining us so I won't subject them to my geekiness. If the right piece of merch shows up, I might leave my group behind and pop over for an hour or so to get it.

Too bad. You should go in the evening, maybe catch Hoopla and then go shopping.

If we're going by last year, all they need to announce for Weekend II is the Clone Wars guest. Right now I'm planning on going the first weekend to get merchandise, then the third weekend to meet celebrities.

That's a shame, hopefully you can make it though!

Now that we know that Ray Park will be here for weekend one we can speculate on the times for all events, taking last years schedule into account, so it would look something like this:

Star Wars Motorcade Parade 12:40pm
Star Wars Character meets: 9:00am - 7:00pm
Shows inside Premiere Theater:
Behind the Force: 11:00am & 1:45pm

So can you get a FP for more than one celebrity? Can you get FPs for Ray Park and Warwick Davis, or do you just pick one?

Two celebrities have been confirmed by Disney! During weekend 1 and 2, Ray Park will be here, and during weekend 2 and 3, Warwick Davis will be here!

ARE YOU SURE RAY PARKS IS GOING TO BE THERE WEEKEND 1 and 2!?!?! Not doubting just double checking before I tell my boyfriend with smelling salts in hand

No one per person. If someone is going with you you can get in line for Ray and the other person can get in line for Warwick. When your fps. time comes only the person with the fp/wristbands can meet that celeb

That's. what Disney blot says

I just checked out...

http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/bl...d-ii-and-a-first-look-at-the-2013-event-logo/

This also anounced the offical LOGO that we have been passing around for a while now :)

But I quote the official Disney blog (see link about for yourselves) "Action star Ray Park, who portrayed the Sith warrior Darth Maul on the silver screen, will be one of the celebrity guests in Weekends I and II. Actor Warwick Davis, known to “Star Wars” fans as everyone’s favorite Ewok, Wicket W. Warrick, will be one of the guests during Weekends II and III."

I might need smelling salts myself, I am so damn excited cause I will get to see them both since I will be there weekends 1 and 2!!!! Just means our buns better bet at the park really early :coffee: for those FP

Hi all! I am subscribing! DH and I won't be going to Disney this year for SWW, but maybe 2014 or 2015. So i am starting research now. :) Good thing too because I didn't realize every weekend had different guests. I was hoping to book the first SWW in hopes of catching the end of Epcot's Garden Festival too. We live in Iowa so we can only go once (per year...:lmao:).

How do you all plan ahead for which weekend when they haven't even announced celebrities yet? Or do you not go by that? I know my husband isn't too excited about any of the ones that have been announced yet for this year.
Are there any other changes between the weekends or days of the weekend? I read the first post and not the rest yet so I apologize if I'm repeating common questions. I will go back and read! Thanks in advance! :flower3:

Adults are allowed to wear SW costumes just nothing that would block your face, like a mask. Other than that almost anything goes (I've seen a couple of Leias in the Metal Bikini before)

I've been going to SWW for the past 10 years and never have I've seen large PDA from any gay couple, Gay Days doesn't really affect the crowd level of the park.

They use to give a small action figure to kids doing JTA during SWW but last year they didn't, so I'm not sure if they're just not doing it anymore, other than that, like Mesaboy said, it's just double capacity. No word on celeb yet, it'll probably be announced about a month before SWW

It would not make any real difference. I was more worried that it was a large group of tourists or something.

Please tell me again what the celebs are allowed to sign? Told DH tonight about Ray Park and Warwick Davis. He was thinking about getting a Duck Maul print to be signed. I don't know if we'll make seeing Warwick but I hope so. As a huge HP fan, that would be awesome! Plus DH loves Willow. :)
