Has anyone gone around the end of May/June time frame?? I have been hearing about gay days and I am in NO way against or discriminatory against anyone's martial status. Its just I've been "hearing" there is a lot of PDA and lets be honest straight or gay I don't like large affections of PDA from anyone. You know a hug or a peck on the cheek or lips is perfect. I have several friends who are gay/lesbian and you would never know it. They don't like the PDA either. NOT trying to start anything to please keep it clean. I am more asking for are the crowds higher because there might be a larger amount of groups entering??

I have not seen any unacceptable levels of PDA from anyone other than heterosexuals. I have seen a lot of gay families though. Some more 'rowdy' behavior from all kinds of people happens at SWW as it draws plenty of childless adults. We've been taking the kids since they were toddlers and the only thing that's an issue for me is the heat.

The crowds are high period for SWW. Not everybody at the park is there for SWW events though.

I've never noticed any PDA that you've been "hearing" about.

Twice the Jedi younglings against twice the Sith. Two bad guys, one on stage and one in front, to handle the extra demand. Two of Vader, Maul, or Ventress I believe.

No celebrities yet, except for I believe James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein.

Hi! I've started reading this thread but haven't gone all the way through it so if this has been asked already my apologies! Are adults allowed to wear Star Wars costumes during Star Wars weekends? I want to make a Padme Amidala costume to wear but won't bother if I'll likely be turned away.

Adults are allowed to wear SW costumes just nothing that would block your face, like a mask. Other than that almost anything goes (I've seen a couple of Leias in the Metal Bikini before)

I've been going to SWW for the past 10 years and never have I've seen large PDA from any gay couple, Gay Days doesn't really affect the crowd level of the park.

They use to give a small action figure to kids doing JTA during SWW but last year they didn't, so I'm not sure if they're just not doing it anymore, other than that, like Mesaboy said, it's just double capacity. No word on celeb yet, it'll probably be announced about a month before SWW

Things are already changing -- the clone wars cartoon ( one of my favs ) has been cancelled !

Hope new things are on the horizon?
Maybe it will make a return to the disney channel or XD ?

I have seen many a character in The park - neither disney/ or 501st/or rebel legion ... Possibly
Mandolirian mercs ? Or jedi assembly ?

Although one year a mnsshp i sat next to a gentleman in full vader who was taking the helmet rig off -- sweating buckets like we do --
And he was a reg peron on vac - it wasn't an off the shelf vader or a rubies junk suit - it was of quality - i spoke with him he wasn't 501st -- but i offered up the info and tried to steer him in that direction - he was excited !!

Was just coming on to tell you guys about Clone Wars. The series is cancelled, but it will continue in some form according to Disney. James Arnold Taylor said on his blog Dave Filoni (director of Clone Wars episodes) will without a doubt be coming to SWW. Guess we can add a celebrity to the list.

WHAT?!! Someone posted a link not long ago showing Ray Park had an appearance in England and another in Phila during those weeks.
Can I possibly be THAT LUCKY??? I usually am very lucky, but this would be the icing on my trip!! DNeph15 and I LOVED Ray when we used to go to SWW years ago and I was really hoping to share the experience with DGrD9 this year. ( We lined up our last day at the crack of dawn and missed meeting him by just a few people because we had to leave for the airport before our FP time).
And Warwick is awesome, too!! Very funny man - delightful host when we saw him!!
Where is the official announcement posted so I can allow myself to feel the ultimate joy of this info!!

Disney parks blog says Warwick Davis is weekend 2 and 3. Maybe is a typo by the poster on SC.
