We are there a week late this year! Ugghhhh We went for the fist time last year, and it was crowded and awesome! My ds7 loved it!!!!

Some filming with Star Wars Characters was done early this morning inside and outside of Star Tours. Maybe a promotional video for SWW?

:scratchin Have they yet, or when do they, post the schedule of events for SWW? I have seen the dates & the hosts but not "What's Happening" during the weekends.

Next what days do people/attendees dress up for? All of them or is there a particular day during the weekend that shines out the most?
I'm all ears, :listen: any info/tips for this first time SWW attender will be very much appreciated.

:wave2: Thanks in advance! :wave2:

The schedule will hopefully come out about a week before, otherwise we'll be on the edge of our seats until the 1st weekenders report back.

Celebritites should be annouced as time gets closer.

People dress any or all days of SWW.

I am going the first and second weekend (17th - 27th of May).

ONLY A WEEK BEFORE!?! Yikes! :scared: how does one plan ADRs and what not with not schedule?

Simple - you do not schedule any ADR's for your SWW days! That's what we did, which worked out nice, because now we can do HDDR!

Here's the schedule from last years SWW, it shouldn't change all that much and this way you'll have an idea on what to expect:
Padawan Mind Challenge: 2:10 & 6:30pm
Hyperspace Hoopla: 8:00pm
Jedi Training Academy: 9:15am, 9:45am, 10:15am, 10:45am, 11:15am, 11:45am, 12:15pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 3:45pm, 4:15pm, 4:45pm, 5:15pm, 5:45pm, 6:15pm, 6:45pm
Star Wars Motorcade (Parade) 12:40pm starts at the entrance ends at the Hat Stage
Star Wars Character meets: 9:00am - 7:00pm
Behind the Force: 11:00am & 1:45pm
Stars of the Saga: 3:15pm
Obi-Wan and Beyond: 4:45pm
Visit to the Maul: 6:00pm

Visit to the Maul would depend if Ray Park (Darth Maul) comes again, he loves doing this show.

I scheduled 1 ADR each day of SWW. I am taking a leap of faith that the schedule will be similar to last year's as yulilin3 posted.

We go all 3 days of a weekend (this year, it will be weekend #2), so we know we won't see everything on each day. This year, we are doing one lunch ADR at EPCOT on Friday (late lunch, like 2:15 pm) and one dinner at Sci-Fi at DHS on Saturday (late dinner - 8:45 pm).

We are planning on watching the parade then heading over to EPCOT and then returning later to grab a spot for Hyperspace Hoopla. Assuming Hoopla remains the same, we should be able to go directly to Sci Fi after the show.

If the schedule changes dramatically we might have to tweak plans a bit, but at least we have a couple of ADR's to work with. :goodvibes

HDDR is Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue - Ok, GOTCHYA!!! ;)

My boyfriend really hopes Ray Parks will be there... I have noticed that he has been at SWW on several occasions, and like my boyfriend I too am a fan of his mad skills :thumbsup2

Thank you for the schedule, was that nearly the same every day of SWW 2012? :scratchin

Why I asked is we are going to be there 2.5 of the days the first weekend and all 3 of the second weekend, so if it is the same I can see us getting several shots at some of the things we want to see. Or even see some of the same stuff more than once if we like.

I scheduled 1 ADR each day of SWW. I am taking a leap of faith that the schedule will be similar to last year's as yulilin3 posted.

I am going to try and do something along those lines myself since we are going to be there 2 of the 4 weekends we should have some overlap.

Since my boyfriend and I will be there for 2 weekends I think it would be safe to do like you did and make ADRs but spread them out with different times each day so we are able to have a chance at hitting the whole schedule. But I definitely see needing backups for tweaking room :thumbsup2

I noticed that it takes a Fast Pass to get signed up for Autographs, where do I obtain those Fast Passes?

I believe there are lines for these just outside the gates, along the right side as you face the entrance. Certain celebrities--including Ray Park--will have lines very early in the morning.

Typically the celebrity with the most draw will have their FP line furthest to the right. So if you arrive and there is a huge line it may just be for 1 celeb.

That happened to dh. I stayed behind at the room and dh went himself to get a FP. I was reading reports of no lines on the DIS, yet dh was texting me about how long the line was. He assumed there was just one line. He didn't realize that further down the walk way were much shorter lines for other celebrities.

You'll also get wristbanded. Both FP and wristband are required to get in line for the autograph.

Question from someone who's never been to SWW before, but who doesn't have kids and who don't worry about getting autographs - if we can't get there before 9-10AM (we have trouble getting to rope drop when it's at 9, but I saw DHS opens at 8!), will we miss a lot of the "atmosphere" of SWW?

I don't think so.

In the past we've gone to the weekends in June because they are nearest my birthday, and a trip to SWW is my birthday present :yay: Well, this year it looks like we have might have to go over Memorial Day weekend because of a conflict with DS's summer camp.

Are the crowds appreciably different on Memorial Day weekend? Just wondering what to expect.
