My family member had the Cheer package and watched us finish. It took awhile to meet up after walking through the finishers shoot, but we met there. It may be easier to pick a stop ahead of time like the merch tent.

SO , I just checked pricing again and the challenge & 5k went up unless I'm reading something wrong & remembering wrong, which is why I quoted the above

I don't see where a Cheer Package is being offered for the SWDS, but I was really trying to get to-is there a way for those wishing to see their runner off and then watch them finish to get from the start to the finish line for the 10k and half?

Prices do seem to have gone up. And that's likely today or yesterday because I checked the 5K price when the other day when talking about the metal medals.

Hoping to register today for the 10K. I am an AP holder. Can anyone say if I will have a problem if my AP expires in November and I don't renew ? Aslo is possible to pick up my wife and daughter's packets if I enter them for the 5K and they are not there ? My daughter has her Spring Break the week before and can't miss 2 days of school then.

One important item is the cost, which is significant. Most runDisney events have a three tiered pricing structure dependent on when you register. Since the Star Wars Half Marathon is in its first year, there is only one price, but expect that to change in the future. For 2016, the Star Wars Half Marathon costs $199.

I just looked back at my 2016 SWDS Challenge registration fee, and it was $330, so even after the increase on the website, they are at the same price as last year for the Challenge.

Price comparison from last year to this year (2016 prices in parentheses)...have we ever seen them DECREASE registration costs from year to year? I guess it makes sense since they had trouble selling out the half marathon entries...

Can anyone who ran the SWDS 10K and half last year tell me how they caught up with family and friends at the end of both races since the finish is in WSPNWWS?

My family took a bus from their resort to WWS, watched us cross the finish line. At the time I finished the crowds on the rails approaching the finish line were pretty minimal so they could see and yell (although I did not see them) then head over to meet at the finish exit area. Where the runners exit was clearly marked and only the runners were coming out. I also met up with other family member who finished before me in the area after bag check.

Use runner tracking and they can look for you at the exit even if they did not see you go by to the finish.
