I'm almost expecting them to be unveiled around the time of Star Wars the Light Side in January.With princess medals getting announced today, how much longer for us to get news of Dark Side? We're hesitant to sign up until we know what they look like. Really hoping for the Jabba the Hut 10K for irony.

These sound awesome! I'm just doing the 5k this time so no clue what that would be, I think Boba Fett is (unfortunately?) now too popular in an underground way to "just" be the 5k medal. But I can (new) hope!The Challenge medals for Light Side are super disappointing - felt like a major downgrade. We originally only intended to do the 10K but seeing the half medal with Han/Leia made us sign up for the half too. We're essentially doing the challenge without the challenge medal - which is fine by me since it's ugly.
As for this race... my dream for medals:
- Jabba the Hutt 10K
- Boba Fett Half Marathon
- Han Solo in Carbonite challenge medal
But who knows what it'll end up being. We're for sure in for the half so we can earn our Kessel Run, but depending on the 10K medal we will make it the challenge. Not having the races being sold out is a blessing at the moment
Since the medals are metal now My prediction for the 5k is Captain Phasma.

I can't like your post because that makes me sad but I think your right.A thought on the potential for a Death Star Spaceship Earth... the effect requires a dark sky. And the 10K and half start down by the MK... by the time most of us get to EP, the sun will be up, so no Death Star projection. The 5K, IDK - it was dark at the start, but the sun came up before I got into EP. So IF they do it, I fear only the fastest runners will see it.
