Thankyou so much for this link When I clicked it - it brought me to the registration page and when it said the race was 'full' at first ... I tried to get in thru the RunDisney site...which was not working at all...so back to the link where it eventually cleared itself of the 'full'.

If not for that link I am pretty sure most of us would NOT have gotten in!!!!!

This was the first time I was unable to use the Disney Visa discount. No more early registration and no more discount either? Where is the love for Disney Visa cardholders?

I agree! Where is the love for Disney Visa? I love my Disney dollars, but I can get 1.5% cash back from Capital One! I would like a little love. It was a very small discount. I'd rather have early registration, but the discount was nice!

I'm in for the challenge, but I think I need to go hammer out a 10k somewhere, in order to be placed up a few corrals. I have until Oct 10, so I don't have to run a nasty summer one, fortunately.

Wow, that registration process was tougher than running the actual race! I got in for the half without much trouble, but getting DH registered for the 10K was quite the process. He's done many local races, including a marathon and after scream teaming several races I convinced him to give Run Disney a try. He definitely wasn't feeling the magic, but we are in!

Haha, faster than a lot of us I'm guessing. Thanks for the recap of how fast they all sold out. At least one of my family members registering on their own was able to get in. I'm still waiting to hear from everyone else.

10k would have sold out sooner if not for computer glitch!

Rebel Challenge was the hot one. if it wasn't for the guys at Team Run Disney on Facebook posting all the direct links that made it easier. I signed up for my RC first then my husband's RC, then for the 5K and the party in less than 12 minutes.

I tried Run Disney page but it wasn't working.

So did RunDisney just not even bother to put up those bars that show the "sell out" progress for this race?

During the two hours that registration was still open, I kept checking and never saw them up...and still aren't up as of 8 am EST today.

They were, not the typical bars, but under the information area they had the percentage

I wanted to register for the 5k, but was not able to, so I registered for the 10k! I guess the "Force" was with me, ha,ha,ha.

For all Acclaim users, check your email, I just received an email saying my races are guaranteed and I should get my active email beginning July. So that def puts me at ease

I asked for an email receipt and got that. I will check my email and look for it. Thanks! I see the charge on my card. So that's something.

Now I am excited and intimidated to train for this. I am having my gallbladder removed in two weeks so hopefully I recover well from that!

Thanks. Looking forward to healing, I get a lot of upper abdominal and right quadrant pain so it slows me down. I finished my first 10K despite it last weekend but would love to improve my times soon so I get a better corral in Anaheim!

My DH and I are signed up for the 10K WDW Marathon weekend and the Castaway Cay Challenge. Then we get off the ship and head to Disneyland for the SW 10K. I'm feeling a little RunDisney crazy right now. Anyone else coast to coast park hopping?

So excited!! We got in for the 10K! We did our first ever runDisney event last May (Expedition Everest) and had a blast! We are now addicted and planning on 4 events next year! We are 5K and 10K runners, but are actually doing the Tink and Princess half marathons so we can get the coast to coast medal. runDisney makes people insane...

Does it ever. I hated running in high school. Even now when I run, an old back injury flares up, so I have to walk the whole thing. And yet seeing those medals and talking with runners who reassured me that I could actually walk a 1/2 marathon persuaded me to sign up for the Disneyland 1/2 in 2011, the C2C in 2012 with Disneyland 1/2 and Wine & Dine, and since that wasn't enough, going for the Rebel Challenge in 2015.

As a side note, I really loved showing off the C2C and Disneyland 1/2 medals after the 2012 Wine & Dine. It really is an amazing experience.

I got myself registered for the 10k, but it sold out before I could get my DH registered!! Anyone have any ideas how I can nab him a spot? (or get rid of mine? I dot want to run alone. )

Were you able to get DH a registration from one if the travel partners?
