with so many people saying how many reservations they've gotten, i can't help but feel a little downtrodden. Is there anyone else out there who has had 0 luck getting ANY reservations?

I wish they put a limit on how many reservations people can hold. I know you can't have dining that over laps. There must be a way to limit the amount of reservations for a restaurant on a single day.
We booked multiple because we’re locals and plan to go a lot during the weekends

I chatted with my authorized planner last night, because I was confused about the 60 minute check in for our Droid Depot reservation on 12/26. We have a 9:30am slot, but as far as I know the land won't open until 9:00. So she called the number on the reservation and they told her it will work like a breakfast ADR before park opening, that we have to be at the HS gate by 8:30 at the latest and they will walk us to GE.
I'm confused/concerned about the 60 minute check-in in general. I booked my husband a second Savi reservation because his original will end within 60 minutes of my kids droid reservation. I didn't want to risk him missing the Droid Depot experience if we have to sit there for an hour. We're not till the end of September so I'm waiting to see how the check-ins and waits play out before I cancel one of them.

Yep, that's why I asked. It seemed like it had to be a typo. Why do they need a 60 minute check in for that one and not the lightsaber? It sounds like Savi's is the bigger draw. Is Droid Depot just that much smaller and/or time-consuming?

it can clearly be a typo, but the issue with Droid Depot is that they have no way to rush you to pick your parts, people could spend a lot of time in there just on that alone. With Savi's it's a controlled, timed spiel

It's why I booked mine at 10:10, was the first reservation under lunch

gggrrr, I'm 9:50 am.
I will now keep trying for at 10 am liquid lunch LOL
Thanks for letting me know.

You can get 2 drinks, so maybe order the first at 9:50 and they'll let you get a second one off the lunch menu after it officially begins at 10:05am? If they're more expensive I am sure they'll let you order!

Thanks for posting this info as it will impact us as well.

I'm planning to show up an hour before my droid build on 8/30, of course the land will already have been open for 2 hours.

this will all change if we find out on 8/29 that the reservation alone won't get you into the land.

Yep, same here. I think most of us who are holding multiple reservations don't have a bunch in one day - I have 10 spread out over the next 6 months because I have a couple overnight trips planned and will likely do a couple day trips, too.

I'm mostly talking about people who say that they have like 6 reservations in 1 day because they don't know what time they're going to be at the park. That doesn't seem fair to me.

I booked about the same as you but for September-November. I only have 1 per day though

Yes I’ve got 3 spread over my 3 weeks in November for Ogas and one also for droid depo. My days will be planned round these not other parks

I agree if this is the case but personally, I haven't heard of this happening, I could easily have missed it though.

I'm guessing once we know more about how Disney will handle entrance into the land that many of these reservations will be released. I'll admit I'm one who has an Oga's reservation booked purely for the hope that it grants us access into SWGE. If we find out there is another way to secure access; if it's not as busy as anticipated or, they officially announce boarding groups, I will probably let my Oga's go. Right now, it's my security blanket.

Guessing I'm far from alone on this!!

I'm also curious at checking in 60 minutes early for DD. Ours is for 11:20am. So we check in at 10:20 and then what do we do?

I haven't seen that at all. Maybe I'm just missing it, but I frequent a handful of websites and social media groups and haven't seen anyone doing that, so I honestly do not think there are many. And a ton more times opened today that weren't showing yesterday, so either people are booking speculatively and canceling, or the site stalling limited available times, or both. It's kinda how things tend to go with limited-capacity events/locations at Disney - being in the right place at the right time pays dividends, but also means some get left out. I'm usually in the left out group, but dumb luck was on my side this time.

Good plan. Maybe I will let them know I either plan on standing for 15 minutes waiting for the 10:05 lunch start or can they just make me now :)

I agree with this! We only have 1 reservation at the end of January, but since both rides will be open at that point I am depending on it to be my ticket in haha. I am managing my expectations for what we will be able to accomplish within the land, but I at least want to see it.
