By the twitter accounts it looks like if they did only a very small group of people took advantage

Now I'm worried that if DL post-reservation was a test for WDW it won't be the test they need. Looks like those that were incredibly motivated scored reservations and those that didn't aren't chomping at the bit to go...Even with the promised Platinum Passholder Previews (still bitter about being shut out as gold) the demand will be much more pent up at WDW on opening day than it is at DL now. I guess we'll have to continue to wait to see how things unfold...

Wasn’t part of the news but I wouldn’t be surprised. I wonder if they’ll find another use for the mobile stages.

I'm not a DL regular, but that seems like a really small crowd to me.

Maybe all the super fans who would have been in line at midnight got in during the reservation period??

This is very possible. I'm also thinking ahead to this weekend being another test though, particularly for the locals.

EDIT: And... well, I'm curious about how many others are waiting for ROTR to open before going.

nothing at all. It will not look anything like this if we only have a VQ system, not even with AP and DVC previews

Alright so got on the DL app and I am able, from Orlando, to book both Oga and Savi. Morning and afternoon slots are taken but plenty of evening spots for both
Slots for Savi and Oga are every hour and half hour until park closing

Hm I'm not sure how I feel about that. I wonder if the $10 no show fee for Oga's is enough to discourage people from making "maybe" reservations and then cancelling them. I would hate for people who really want to get in to not be able to get a spot because of folks like that. But like I said, I'm not sure if that's a risk or not.
