Over on WDWmagic Martin has said that there will be controlled entry into the land with essentially a FP or reservation to get in. This will help control crowd levels inside.

Of course this makes a lot of sense. I thought it was weird they would do timed entry at DL and not at WDW. Maybe they will use the existing FP system for WDW (seems easiest) and that also might explain the recent tightening of the FP rules despite no initial FPs for the SWGE rides.

No for getting into the land itself. They want to control crowds within the land. You would make a reservation or they would give you a return time in order to get into the land.

If and once you get in will you be able to stay as long as you like? Or will they somehow force people out after a certain amount of time?

I would think as long as you like but can’t re-enter. We will know soon enough.

I think it would be hard to get people to leave ... maybe you only have so long to ride the rides after entering though or something

Yeah very hard to clear the entire land every couple of hours, those doing the lightsaber or droid experience, or those dinning would be able to stay. I think it will be exactly like Pandora previews where you had a time slot to go in but didn't need to leave after that

I hear you - really would make sense. Even for things within the land ... like, how do you prevent people from just camping out in the Cantina?
