Finally got home from my sister’s in MD and am able to properly shift to vacation mode without guilt. I am in desperate need of this trip.

All checked in for the cruise, and our TA was able to book the Royal Gathering for us no problem. All that’s left now is our LL booking. Tentatively only buying MP for Thursday and Friday, for Epcot (I know it’s not necessary, but it’s pretty much just for Remy since we’re rope dropping from the monorail) and hopping from MK to HS on the party day we’re not going to. I’m still kind of worried about same day availability hopping into HS in the afternoon though and find myself second guessing plans. I’m really lamenting the end of stacking as it was perfect as the original plan for that day.

This sounds good to me, I see the value in LLMP for Epcot just to make sure you can get on Remy (I'm about to do the same thing for my trip, lol). I would also head to MK on a party day and hop to a different park in the evening but I sadly have no advice on hopping with LLMP/LLMP availability for DHS in the evening. DHS has always been a bit of a PITA for LL, but I haven't heard any recent experiences that speak to your plan.

16 nights (7 nights 2 bedroom Copper Creek & 9 nights 1 bedroom Riviera)
8/31-9/16

I have the same concerns. We have 2 MK party days (not staying for MNSsHP) and hopping after close. My plan is to start trying for DHS or Epcot LLMP around 3 as I am using up my MK LLMP and see what I can get. That way I will hopefully have 3 ready for the next park. One day we have dinner ADR at 5:30 and the other we have lunch ADR so will be ready to hop before the 6 close at MK. Then we have a AK day we are hopping to MK for fireworks, that I did not plan to buy LLMP, but now I wonder about the MK crowds and if I should buy it for mainly for MK.

Typically how we like to tour on party days is rope drop and then do a late breakfast or brunch situation before doing our midday break and then we hop into another park at night. My thought is to buy Rise for the evening and book MK LLs for as early as we can, and then immediately start modifying the other MK LLs into HS Tier 1s as soon as we tap in. I did book us a Steakhouse 71 ADR for about 10:45a but from what I’ve been observing, I think we’ll want to drop that one. ADRs seem to be getting into people’s way, and worst case scenario we can always do it as a walkup.

I have been sporadically checking LL availability at HS in the early-mid morning when we would be trying to grab them and things are looking pretty good in all honesty. I’ve seen everything pop up, even Slinky Dog. I just hope availability is still good when we go. I have a hunch that because it’s a Friday, the vast majority of park hoppers will be going to Epcot that night vs. HS, since people like to do Friday night dinner at F&W and Sheila E will be there. (We are popping in to see her on Saturday instead)

We just booked our LL's. Arriving next Friday and we were able to get everything we wanted at the time we needed. A lot was available. This was for our big group. Tiana had a ton of openings.
Thats great news!!

I just got a call upgrading us for free to a Cars Suite at AoA from All Star Music! It is only for the 1 night we added on at the end of our trip, but still a nice surprise. Now we have Pop for 6 days and AoA for 1.

That's amazing!

Just did my LL selections for next week... easiest booking process of my life, bar none. Got everything I wanted, basically at the times I wanted them for. Tiana was available for me on day 3 of my trip at 11:30 AM, Remy available for day 2 of my trip at 12:30. Obviously miss when FP+ was free.99 but can't argue with the availability and ease of making LLMP selections unfortunately.

I did two ILLs (one for GotG, day 2 of my trip and one for 7DMT, day 3 of my trip) and availability was wide open for all of them.

What's everyone using to get to and from airport? Was thinking of just getting a Uber any other fun suggestions

Rented a car for the first couple of days as we want to visit a beach. Dropping family off at resort before I turn in the car rental. Using Uber to get back. We are using Mears to get back to the airport. We've always had good luck with them and its hard to find an uber for 8.

Mears. Have heard mixed reports about it, but it just seemed like the best and most cost effective way for a solo traveler to get to and from the airport... although not looking forward to the early morning wakeup call on my departure day :crazy2:

Timing is crawling along as we leave in "4" days. Sadly, I know the time will fly when we are down there!!! Booked a fireworks cruise for Sunday yesterday. I tried to do this a few weeks ago and they were sold out. Strange as we had our pick of several days and both Epcot and MK. I'm beginning to think the lady I spoke with a couple weeks ago was not sure what she was doing.

We take Lyft XL it holds the 4 of us and our luggage. For us it is the cheapest option with our party size. We also have a 10% off coupon at this time every year as the only place we use Lyft is in WDW and they send us a coupon once we have reached the 1 year mark since our last use :cool1:

Does anyone know if there's something big going on attendance-wise the week of 9/22? We're booked for 9/25-10/2 and resort availability for the week of the 22nd is very sparce compared to the weeks around it. At least with the passholder discount anyway. LLMP prices seem to be back up to the highest they've been so far starting the 23rd too. We have what we want as far as accomodations go but I'm always checking anyway!

As 2 adults who always check bags we typically do Lyft, though last year because we were coming in on Memorial Day weekend and I wanted to avoid surge pricing we did Tiffany Towncar and really enjoyed it. The only reason we're not doing it this time is keeping costs down due to needing to budget for transportation to and from Port Canaveral for our cruise (we are taking Disney transportation and that ate into our budget).

This trip we planned to Lyft to and from MCO but our TA recommended a driver who she uses with her own family, an ex-CM who is on the rideshare apps but also drives on her own on the side. She is only charging us $30, which is significantly cheaper than the average rideshare price to property. We will see how it goes but if we have a good experience we'll probably stick with her and I'll be comfortable putting her name out and recommending her.

We are using Tiffany Town Car for our upcoming trip. It's a little more pricey than an Uber or Lyft, but I had a bad experience with Uber once and would rather be safe than sorry. (Sorry, I should clarify...it was not like an unsafe experience, just not a pleasant experience.) I'm hopeful it will be a nice, relaxing ride to and from the airport!

Welp, Tron is going standby as of 9/8 according to Scott Gustin on Twitter. My streak of Disney casually dropping bombshells to upend my plans just before I go continues I guess LOL
