***Official September 2022 Thread***

Looks like its going to be back to MNSSHP.... unofficial as of now, but Brooke McDonald posted in her Insta Stories and doing a little search it looks like ITM also posted something. Apparently Disney Parks posted it on Twitter, but then took it down.

Yay! The party was something we were really looking forward to (both the party itself and a low crowd MK day before a party!) Fingers cross this leak is on point.

YAY! and also BLARG! Why did they flip that early Sept date to Monday instead of Tuesday? That throws off my plan to hit Epcot for Extended Evening hours on Monday. I guess I'll have to wait and see whether they move that night too.

Pleased to see this detail: "Ticket holders will be admitted to Magic Kingdom park as early as 4:00 PM on the valid date of their ticket--giving them even more time to enjoy park favorites before the event begins! These date-specific event tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or theme park reservation"

Which date and move the party or the extended hours?

I think they always move the party to Monday and skip Tuesday for Labor Day.

Yay! Got an email from Disney and my Dreams agent that onsite guests get a presale and it looks like the agent can book it for you. That's a happy less hassle thing for once! I was not looking forward to long phone call wait times with Disney if I had to purchase over the phone.

You guys, I have to say, this news is getting me more excited than it probably should.

First, my family had an incredible time at an August 2019 party, so I'm thrilled the full party experience is coming back. But, even more than that, this means that Disney is projecting their staffing to be sufficient to handle a real party by mid-August. I really hope that means the rest of the restaurants, including character dining, are back up and running for our trips. I want Bon Voyage Breakfast and 1900 Park Fare!!

Please add us to the list. We will be there 8/28-9/4 at Beach Club Villas. We were there the same time period in 2019. Now that the Halloween Party dates have been announced I can begin planning our park days.

The tickets will be offered online as well as by phone.

Entirely my own mistake but I didn’t realize that was the past pattern and had assumed an Epcot Monday extended evening and then getting to have a pool/rest day with the party Tuesday evening. Now if it’s a party Monday night I’ll have to rethink that maybe. The mix of things they let you plan 4 months early (party tickets) vs planning two months early (EE hours) and one month (dining) and day of (G+) is… annoying.

Oooh I'm going to have to play with my plans some more to get a party in! Shame there's not a party on the 28th September because that's my rest day.

Edit: I think I can make it work if I switch round my Epcot and HS day! The first day at Epcot was only going to be the world neighbourhoods anyway.

I think I already know what I'm going as! So excited!

Just found this thread. We have a trip booked for 9/11 thru 9/17. We'll be at Beach Club Villas for the first couple days and then move to the cabins at Copper Creek for the remaining days.

We had figured to do Wednesday at MK to take advantage of EMH. Not I'm not sure what to do.

From everything I've read, Wed crowds will be a little higher with people avoiding the early closing in MK on the other days. We could do the party and try to knock out all the rides we want to ride that evening but that could backfire depending on how many tickets Disney sells. Or we could bite the bullet for hoppers and just hop from MK on a party day - hearing crowds will be lighter those days- and hop to another park.

It's hard to predict what works when there hasn't been a MNSSHP since 2019.

Any experts care to give us some guidance? Party or hop?

Well changed our reservation from 7 days at POP Century to a split stay 9/5-9/10 and 9/10 to 9/14 at POP looking forward to pool time at Coronado and using the Skyway at Pop...so 9 days at Disney! usually do 6 day trips have never done a 9 day trip! Booked the Coronado half using the Disney Visa Resort offer and used the Disney+ offer for the Pop reservation. Not sure what’s happening with SWA but the airfare dropped from $163 to $59 from BWI to MCO for 9/5 so I saved $104 by changing my flight from 9/6 to 9/5 and added the extra nite on to Coronado stay.

FWIW, we're intentionally going to MK on party days (lighter crowds) and going to the MHSSHP also, but we won't be doing rides during the party. We're going with our two young kids, so we're skipping park hoppers. They won't last that long anyway.
