Nice! We've only visited the GF. I walked over from the Poly and had a drink at the Enchanted Rose on my last trip and loved it. There is so much to look forward to for that resort.

We went for high tea once and it was so lovely! Lots of sweet Disney touches in the floors and wallpaper and tiles.

YAY that's a great switch! I can't save anymore since I rented points, but that is good enough for me! I also really like French Quarter and is where I would stay if I was still going next month.

I also now have my tickets and therefore park reservations (or at least the placeholder reservations) as well! Very exciting milestone haha. Now to start thinking about what I really want to do and on which days!

@PixieT78 I am so glad and happy for you!! Things did work out for you to have a good trip and enjoy!! For me it did turn out to save some money and have a new experience.

Have you all booked flights for Sept? SWA opened bookings, after a month long extension, for the Fall, only a few days ago, and they're up over 50% from the week before dates (last week of Aug through like Sept 2). They were like $816 & $955 for 2 people round trip, and we typically target about $400. I'm trying to remember but feel like I do see some sell outs for SWA for the popular direct flights (late or early) for our routes, but only very late in the booking timeframe for Labor Day week. Are you guys holding out on flights if you haven't booked yet? I feel like this is about the worst time to book given high jet fuel prices, and oil already coming down significantly the past few weeks. I have heard airline execs stating that demand is high and they feel that they can readily pass down via higher prices.

I have booked my flight, but i'm flying from Canada and there was a seat sale with Westjet. The price was on par with what i paid for a trip in November of 2017. I do have free cancellation. Will keep an eye on the prices and cancel these and re-book if i find it someplace cheaper.

I booked my air as soon as Delta released the dates so that must have been last October. My local airport is generally out of anyone's price range unless you are traveling on government or space business so we usually drive to Nashville but this is a girls only trip and I didn't want to drive to Nashville at the crack of dawn by myself. Luckily I got a really good price...shocking actually and I think that was because it was so far out..that and a bit of pixie dust. I do have to stop in Atlanta as there are no direct flights but I'm happy with what I got. Southwest doesn't fly out of my local airport but when we do go to Nashville we usually fly Southwest.

I'm kinda out of the loop, is it crazy busy? It doesn't seem to have slowed down since the holidays honestly. My trip in Jan was WAY busier this time then it was in 2018. I'm hoping to gauge better by post Easter and Summer crowds. If people start going on more cruises and trips to other locations, then it means Disney should be slowing down with more options to people.

I think its a good sign that they had a summer/early fall discount that seems to be pretty spread across property and a lot of us took advantage of. They offered absolutely NO discounts for my January trip and it seems it was definitely at capacity. I'm curious what the offsite capacities are. You gotta figure a lot of people who pushed off their points at time shares the last two years are now also cashing in and if they are doing it for spring break its unlikely they would be back in summer or later.

@Neverbeast I consistently check out the wait times and crowd levels at least every week. Plus I am hoping that our September trips will be as in previous years with low crowds which is the primary reason we go in September. And I know those days could be a thing of the past. I admit I will be a little disappointed if crowd levels are very busy during my trip. The way it looks right now so busy I just would not stand in a 2 or 3 hour line for one attraction. We have Genie plus added to our packages for the entire trip. It could be a bad decision but who knows at this point. I know Genie plus reviews are not the greatest. Yes I check out all those reports too!!!! And I agree with @DaniellePoppins about the discounts!!

I honestly didn't find Genie+ useful on my January trip. Individual Lightening Lanes were good, but once you got through making that reservation the Genie+ availability was already at late times for the good rides. It especially wasn't useful if you are a rope dropper like I am. You could accomplish more going early than you could with Genie. That said, I read an article about how much better it is during slower days. Well, yeah, cause less people means less demand for that, but it also means lower waits. Does that make the cost worth it then if all its saving you is 20 minutes? I think they are fully aware Genie is gaining a terrible reputation, hence the little disclaimer they now have on the page for it, which honestly won't help sales imo. Is only skipping 2-3 lines worth the $15 for the whole day? I'd rather pay the $10-$15 for the headliners individually. I wouldn't be surprised to see major changes made to Genie once they are out of the anniversary period and Epcot is back to fully functioning. Possibly going to a tier system. The level it is now, a medium price one that's more available times, and then a premium level that includes the ILL rides and repeat riding with no reservations in advance, similar to the top level express pass.

I don't have genie included for my whole trip, but I probably will add it for two days... HS where I found it worked best, and one of my MK days.

I'm getting itchy to pay up! My payment date isn't until the 16th of June but for some reason I wanna pay now so I know it's done

I understand that - I love when it is paid up too. Mine is due August 4th. That is nice you get that discount even a little one - more to spend on something you want to do or buy.

I'm happy to answer any questions anyone has. Of course its only based on my experience and that was as a solo traveler who would prefer an early morning in the parks. I didn't do Epcot early, only afternoons, but I did a 4 pm dinner and then went to future world for rides and walked on everything I wanted to do that day. So genie isn't as useful here. That said, with guardians opening, if Frozen is a must do, it might be worth it for you. AK I used it for Navi and that was it. I rope dropped Safari which was definitely a good choice. Animals were amazing so early. Dinosaur was walk on and I refuse to do Tough to be a bug. That was seriously traumatizing the one time I did it.

I had the best luck with Genie on my HS day, but I did TS land at rope drop. I was done over there in no time. I recommend going there first and GE second. I would pay to ride on RISE over and over. It was the most incredible ride I've ever been on. It is 1000% worth the ILL price. Also, something to note about RISE is it goes down almost every day from what I heard and more than once. It was down during my return time and a cast member will tell you when its back up you can go on at any point. I was lucky to snag a G+ reservation right away for Star Tours when I saw Rise was down. I went around the corner to do that, and when I was done, it was back up. Its my understanding that the reason it goes down is not tech issues, but the ride has to be cleaned due to people getting sick. So if you have motion issues, think twice about it I guess. I didn't find it too insane myself. I think my jaw was dropped too much to even think about the motion.

Don't hold your breath. Prepare for big crowds. If it isn't as busy it'll be the cherry on top!
