I was victorious in getting my lamp light reservations today yay! but now with the new announcement I will need one for Trader Sams and want one for carnation cafe so Im still watching :magnify:the site daily lol no rest for my app hope everyone else is getting what they need to make their trios magical!:wizard:

Lamplight Lounge reservations for September 18 FINALLY opened up!! I managed to snag a 6:30pm reservation!

ETA - In case anyone has been waiting - Carnation Cafe will be re-opening on Sept. 16!
Where did you hear that Carnation Cafe is reopening? That's pretty cool. I'd like to go to Lamplight Lounge for the 2319 drink but I'll just check and see if there is a walk up when we're in the area.

Joining the party! We're hoping to be there Sept 1-4 staying at the Desert Inn. Being from Canada we've been watching case counts and travel advisories closely and as of now we're still planning to make the trip. It's been a few years since we've been to DLR. Our last Disney trip was to WDW in 2019 and we were supposed to be in DLR last summer but of course that didn't happen...thanks covid :sad2:

We're from AB and still planning to make our Sept 16-19 trip as well!
I'm having a little difficulty finding a covid testing facility close to the parks for our return trip - have you been able to find anything? We won't have a car with us, so the closer to the park the better. Here's hoping we won't need it, but it's best to be prepared.

We're in San Diego for the first part of our trip (August 26-31) DH is heading home Sept 1 as he's not wanting to stay for DLR. He's returning the rental car when he goes so DD and I won't have a car either and will have to taxi or Uber. I've been obsessing over testing options and have it narrowed down to CVS or Anaheim City Hall. City Hall is expensive but they offer a wider range of options including the ID Now rapid NAAT test with results in an hour. They also offer PCR next day results or 1 hour results. I'm leaning towards the City Hall route just for peace of mind that our results will be back in time for travel. I'm thinking DH will do the 1 hour NAAT on Aug 31 when he drives us to Anaheim and DD and I will do the 24 hour PCR test on Sept 1 because it's a bit cheaper and we have the extra time.

We arrive on the 16th and are going to Oogie Boogie Bash the same night. I'm looking at booking at city hall on the 17th - like you said, it's peace of mind. We leave the 19th, so should be good with the cheaper PCR test as well. I'd be interested in hearing about your experience with the testing, if you don't mind sharing.

Sure I’ll definitely report back if we end up going! DH is still a bit on the fence but we’re all vaccinated and plan to use kn95 masks so I think our risk is pretty low.

My oldest son (turning 15) and I will be there Sept 24th and 25th (one park per day) for his birthday. He is a huge Star Wars and Marvel fan, and hasn't seen either of those spaces yet. (His last trip was a family trip in April 2019). Right now we have a 3-night reservation at the Motel 6 Maingate, but I will be watching for better one when it gets closer.

My wife and I are excited to be going finally for our honeymoon from Sept 9 through 13 staying at Grand Californian. With 8 reserved sit-down restaurants and 12 other planned quick service restaurants to test all of the food people have raved about as well as droid and lightsaber reservations, we are excited to finally celebrate 15 months after we originally got married. Excited to also do our first ever holiday experience at a Disney park and excited for OOB on Sept 11. And this is just part 1 with a drive through Death Valley on our way to Vegas for another 8 nights. So ready to finally have a nice long break to relax and experience all of these things.

This will be my second trip to DL having been last in 2002 right after DCA opened when I was 11 and my wife's first DL experience where both of us are WDW experts.

Our first trip ever to Disneyland is September 19th to 22nd. We'll be staying at The Annaheim Marriot and attending Oogie Boogie on the 19th.
We are super excited to see Walt's original park. Yes, tears will be flowing but laughter and enjoyment will be a plenty. Having attended MNSSHP, we could not turn down Oogie Boogie. No costumes this time (only carryon luggage space) but we have cute Boogie Boys and Star Wars themed tees. I'm the NBC geek and am also excited for The Haunted Mansion overlay.
We're brought to the west coast for a wedding in Vegas on the 22nd. I couldn't have us close to disneyland and not take a few days to take in the magic.

First page has been updated with newly SOLD OUT Oogie Boogie dates as well as some new park hours released. FYI, only 4 dates available in September now and 1 in October for OBB.

**UPDATE All October dates are sold out

I did ok. Got Storytellers for noon on 9/12. Also have Cafe Orleans booked for 9/11 dinner, but I’ll probably drop that. I keep checking for Blue Bayou and Ogas. I just saw a ton of availability for Goofys Kitchen that weekend.

I’ve gotten a few…
Lamplight plans for drinks/appetizers before OBB on 9/16
Café Orleans after Lightsabers @ Savi’s on 9/17
Dropped a Storytellers I had for Sat. night, hoping to pick up a Trader Sam’s instead
Lamplight Brunch Sun. morning, Splitsville Sun eve.
Another LLL for lunch on Tuesday
Another Splitsville for lunch (we love their sushi) before 2nd OBB on 9/23

I’ve given up on getting Oga’s, I’m just not gonna keep trying at insane hours, so I’ll hope to get on the walk up list, I guess… the only other I’d like to try for is Trader Sam’s, but they aren’t open past 9/15 yet… fingers crossed it isn’t too much of a pain to get… :badpc:

Because of Florida being Florida, I had to cancel my Labor Day Universal trip, and was shocked to find I could replace it with a DL trip for about the same amount of money. I’ll be staying at The Anaheim Hotel September 3-8, with 5 day park hoppers for my very first ever Disneyland trip! :stitch::stitch:
