***Official September 2020 Thread***

Hey everyone, we've moved our trip from May to the 28/09 to 09/10 staying at the POFQ!

We're coming from the UK and this will be my first trip to florida. It was disappointing having to postpone our original trip but we ended up saving money! Already managed to rebook all our dining reservations so back to replanning and looking at the Halloween party :)

Are you dates 8/28-9/10? Updating the list and wasn't sure.

Yes we are! I love having a fall break. We are all hoping it will be open!

I am from Gwinnett County and we are going the same week....2/26 through 10/2. I had no idea that was spring break for the ATL area schools. Between that and knowing that alot of people are rebooking, now I'm wondering how busy it will be! Oh, well, we rented DVC points so no changing for us. Here's hoping it will all be up and running by then!!

We are in Cobb County. I think most of the Atlanta area gets that week for fall break. We are really hoping it will open too, I think everyone needs a vacation!

Late to the September trip party but I'm here now. 9/10-9/16!! I'll be traveling with a party of 7 and it's going to be a magical time. Last year, my sister and I took my grandmother with us and made her ride every single coaster instead of sitting everything out. It was a BLAST! This year, we're bringing my newly adopted niece from India! Right now, she is still in India since Covid shut down the courts and delayed her passport. Every time they speak to her in the orphanage via Facetime, she is such a happy, beautiful smiley girl. She is always seen with something Disney, so my sister joked that she is definitely apart of our tribe. It will be interesting to see how she reacts to Disney, especially because she also has special needs. We have never used the ADA pass though we might have to, depending on how she reacts to waiting, etc.

Anyway, we're so excited! We are booked into two rooms at Pop Century, preferred for the first time because we wanna experience having an easier walk when you're dead tired with two kiddos.

We also went ahead and booked some of our dining choices and tried to figure out some of our days. Even though we are passholders, we still tend to get the Dining Plan only because we just know it's there and already paid for. I might have had gastric bypass surgery at this time too so... who knows what I'll be able to eat at these fabulous places? It might be a waste of money for me to get DP but I figure I can always give out extra snacks/drinks to people if I break down my credits that I won't be able to eat.

9/10 - Travel Day - MK - Liberty Tree Tavern - We can't go all the way to Florida and not have MK as our first day especially with our newest excited disney kid! We tend to travel super early in the morning to give us more time in the park. So, we'll go ahead and make a park day out of this. In regards to Liberty Tree Tavern, we ate here last trip and we absolutely loved it. I love the themeing, the salad and the Patriot's Slush! YUMMY. It will be in the afternoon at 4:50pm so after we eat, we'll probably head back to Pop and sleep.

9/11 - EPCOT - Food and wine? Check. However, we really enjoy Via Napoli, everyone in my party did! In fact, my picky-eater niece declared it was the best food she ate at Disney world last year when we were there for two weeks.

9/12 - HS - Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Package! - Look, Hollywood and Vine's food is just okay. It was the characters that made this a hit with all my family, enough to pick it up again so we can also get really great seats for the Fantasmic showing later that evening. Worth it, tbh.

9/13 -AK - Rainforest Cafe - I know what you're thinking and I think it's so hokey, and not as good as some other choices at AK. However, my crew of picky eaters LOVES it especially my mom who always wants to go here.

9/14 - MK - Okay, so currently I have nothing booked because my mom wants to go to Ohana's since it's our family tradition. I have a 9:50pm reservation but we are not trying to stay up and out all night waiting to eat their delicious chicken wings. So, I'm gonna try to find an earlier reservation. Also, I'm looking for Be Our Guest for lunch. We really, really enjoyed their QS the last time we went so fingers crossed.

9/15 - MNSSHP / Disney Springs? - We will probably end up at some park, I don't know! But we definitely are gonna be eating at 1800 Park Fare for breakfast because it's also a tradition and have you ever had their strawberry soup?

9/16 - We won't be leaving until 2pm so we can pop into a park for a few hours or not. It's whatever we want to do. Last year, we hung out with squirrels and had a few drinks by the Hippy Dippy Pool.

Anyway, what are you guys looking forward to?

We moved our trip from May to September. I'm being cautiously optimistic. We homeschool and this was to be my son's official graduation in May. We were able to get in the the free dining for having to cancel for 9/26-10/2. Fingers Crossed!

Hi guys! I just found this thread. We are planning on being there September 27th- October 3rd, staying at the Ft. Wilderness cabins. That week is my kids fall break, and is such a great week to go. Two years ago the crowds were low, but with everything going on now and people are rebooking for fall, we shall see.
I’ll be going that week also and staying at the cabins as well!! I think we’re the only two in this thread staying there. Welcome!! :sunny:

I have stayed in the cabins several years ago and truly enjoyed it. If I ever stayed there again I would rent a golf cart as would have made it quicker and easier to get to Pioneer hall and to the main Transortation for the parks. I am sure you will love it!

We are planing on booking and hoping some deal still comes out. With all the re-schedules, I'm wondering how busy it will be now in September if the parks are open. With school just restarting and not knowing if international travel will be open or not may have an impact and keep crowds lower. IF, IF, IF it's open by then. Fingers crossed for a healthier world!

I’ve stayed there before, May 2019 and absolutely loved it! We got golf carts last time and plan on doing it again. This trip is to bring my sisters they’ve never been before (25 and twins) so I’m really praying this trip happens!! I just want them to be able to have the most magical time!

I’m starting to worry about crowds. I think it will depend on when things get back to normal. I hate waiting, but that’s what we all have to do.

When I spoke to the CM to book my trip, he said that while September is usually slow this year a lot of cancelled trips were rebooking September with hope that the parks will open.

We re-booked for Sept. and I look at availability once a week or so, and it still looks wide open for the deluxes during our stay, so it may be more crowded than normal but we are not worried about it being a madhouse.

Another re-booker here! We should be at WDW right now celebrating my retirement from my first job (today) and DH's birthday (this coming Sat.) but at least we still are all healthy and DH and I are working.
This trip is only the 2nd one with just DH and I. We originally were booked at Yacht Club with military discount, wanting to be close to DHS for Star Wars and Epcot for Flower & Garden. We stayed at Boardwalk on our anniversary trip last year and loved it. Looking at a bunch of different date options that we can go with around my new job's busy time there was nothing at any Epcot area resort or Caribbean Beach, the only mod. we haven't stayed at. The CM suggested Coronado in a tower room and that was available. So while we've stayed at CSR twice, it is DH's favorite mod. and the tower room will be something different. New dates are Sept. 13-20.
I was able to re-book all the dining options to almost the exact same times and just changed opening night dinner from Ale & Compass (I'll save that for when we do get to stay at YC) to Grand Floridian Café. I figure we have to activate our military salute tickets at one of the parks so we can hop on a bus to MK and do that before hopping on a monorail or boat to GF for dinner.
Now to wait for FP picking day...

List updated - as usual if I missed someone or something isn't correct just let me know. We are getting a big list! If we are all able to take our I trips I promise I won't complain about crowds like I usually do :) I just want to go to WDW!
