Agreed and seriously...shipping to Canada starts at $75 but only $15 within the US. Are you kidding me, $60 difference for a 7 inch rubber doll...no thanks...

I also agree they are kind of creepy looking!

It would be interesting to see a doll side by side with a photo of the child model, to see how similar they look...

Haha....that's what I thought. I assume the dolls distorted the children's images a little. At least I hope so....

Just 25 days!!!!!! We have two days of the new school year under our belts, so I guess I can pull out the suitcases and start getting things together! I am so ready to be in WDW!

I posted this on the transportation board, but I'm sharing it here too as I know you all will commiserate!

Just got a call from Amtrak that they've cancelled the Autotrain for our travel date and the two days after. They said there's bridgework being done that weekend and the train will not be running. We tentatively rescheduled for the date prior, but I'm sure the train will be packed (we had to give up lower level coach seats as there were none available for the new date, only regular coach) and it will mean an extra hotel night, as our rental house won't be available till the following day.

So now we're thinking about driving. Definitely not my first choice -- my 3yo does not ride well -- but I can't see paying the cost of the train if it's not adding any convenience. I'm waiting for my inlaws to get home from their *other* vacation so we can decide how we're going to handle it (we had planned to all travel together).

Just when I thought I had it all figured out...!

I used a TA too and I am at 31 days, she said she does not have it yet either

I would think by 20 days she has your Mickey mail by now. Our was mailed out July 23rd and we got it at 28 days out. Me tags came a couple of days later. Seems weird at 20 days she don't have it.

I can see the 31 days they probably don't have it. It seems like they are running a couple days prior to 30 days or a couple after 30 days.

Our first stay at FQ. We are really hoping for a first or second floor room..we have Halloween decorations and want people to be able to see them.

Is anyone doing this for their September trip? I just read about it today and see that they are taking reservations. Or has anyone did this with Star Wars?

We did Carbon Freeze Me. Here is a link to my son's experience. http://disboards.com/showpost.php?p=45324081&postcount=112

He loved it. It took over 6 weeks to receive it in the mail. The Carbon Freeze Me was 8 inches long. Personally, I feel it was way over priced. It was one of those things we will probably only do once. We really have to look hard to see his resemblence in it. It had Han Solo's hairline and neck with my son's face on it.
