cantwaitvaca09...Good luck trying to switch your ADR...if you can't switch it, don't fret. Like I said before, that time of year is a great time with not a lot of crowds. So depending on when your ADR is for CRT, you can get to MK at RD and do Dumbo, Peter Pan, etc before going to your ADR. Then afterwards, head towards the area of the park you want to go to next. When I mentioned the pre-park opening ADRs, I was just telling you what our family likes to do...didn't intend to say that you had to do it . Please don't stress over your upcoming trip, instead go and have a great time with your family. Is this your first time going in September?

We are on the QSDP and we are just paying OP for a couple of ts meals. Well my youngest now wants to eat with the princess. I was able to get a Akrshus this am. Now I'm off to cancle CP once the reservation system is working again.

For us, DH doesn't like to rent a car because he wants Disney to do all the driving since he is on vacation...but next year, we are going to take the plunge and drive (from Chicagoland area) so we will have our car then . We did the disney bus last time and my little one got car sick. It was nastly,
I got a great discount code and booked and SUV.
We are also in the Chicagoland area.

I wish I could not tell my girls til we leave, I am too excited to keep it from them. But I have not told them about the ADR's

I don't know how you do it! I can't keep from talking about Disney. My Nephew and Niece are going for the first time with us in September. My MIL/SIL are not telling them until my nephew's birthday in June. UGH...I so much want to call them and ask who their favorite characters are,etc! But I can't.

Its been tough keeping the secret. Ive been busying myself with making stuff and planning. I just keep thinking that the look on their faces when they wake up to find out on the 29th will be worth it. I keep bugging DBF with all the details. And my mom who isnt a Disney fan and has never been. lol. Plus I keep whispering to the baby that we are going to Disney. She doesnt understand. I have to stop doing that though because soon enough she will be able to repeat it.

As for the Tea Room, I was able to make mine way back on my 180+10 but I had to call in order to do it. When I tried to do it online, it was showing no availability, I even tried during my whole stay. When I gave Disney Dining a call, I was able to get it for the day and the time that I wanted. Try calling...normally it isn't that difficult to get, depending on what time of day you want to go, however it is a really small area with not a lot of tables so I can see it filling up fast. Good luck.

Sounds like Garden Tea Room is one to call disney dining on just like a Fantasmic Package. I will try to call now.

Good luck! I always call to reserve the Tea Room and it is a tradition for us. Best kept Disney secret! We are going on the 23rd and taking my friend who has never been. Last year we dressed up in Sun dresses, white gloves and big fancy hats as a nod to the royal wedding. We may have to do the same thing this year as it is the Queen's diamond jubilee (and we are a little silly.)
You can't imagine the looks we got!

Calling Disney is the trick 407-939-3463, we were able to get a reservation for the Garden Tea Room on Sunday, September 2, 2012. I am going to try to keep this a surprise for my daughter.
The CM said that this is one of the reservations that you need to call into to secure.

Yep! Our countdown board is so deceptive.. we have taken SOOO many squares off and so much is exposed but there is still so much to go. Of course I put 104 on it twice so that day will be exciting..LMAO

Just paid the rest of my package in full. Not taking any chances with the pending ticket price increase (sneaky Disney keeps increasing prices earlier and earlier each year)!

arent we locked in?? I know last year I booked, prices went up, but my package did not.
