can someone help me? I have been thoroughly confused by the CM's in dining reservations. With my arrival date of Sept 12 when am I able to book my ADR's? They told me 3 days ago, but I thought it was March 16. But when they tried to, the system would not allow it. Two of them said it was three days ago. I am confused. Help

My arrival date is Sept 9th... my adr date is march 13th...

If your arrival date is Sept 12th... stands to reason yours would be march 16th.

If u upgrade to Moderate, the dining plan included is the dining plus. Which was only 150.00 more for us then doing the Value.

Were going to stick with the QSDP it just works better for us.

I have the same arrival date and I believe it is March 16th as well. Have you booked a package yet? If so, when you are logged into your account, it will tell you the ADR date. I haven't booked yet, so I have to do the math the old-fashioned way!

I just barely qualify for this thread lol...going the 29th - Oct 6. We went early September last year...I think the 13th-20th if I recall, and it was hottern blue blazes. My mil passed out at Indiana Jones show, she doesn't tolerate heat well apparently. We're from Maine...we can handle 15 below no prob. Give us over 85 and we'll tell ya we're dying. This is our 4th Sept/Oct trip, the later in Sept the better.
Anywhoo..we're at CBR. Can't wait to see what we're able to get for dining ressies. Hoping for Crystal Palace this year, couldn't get it last year.

We are going for 11 days so it was around 360.00. I was very hesitant to do it. For one the other day the only standard we could get was CBR. I figured pop has full beds so why bother. So I checked today and POFQ showed up. I called so fast. So worth it IMO just for the queen beds.

We love POFQ. I also got HDDR Category 2 for the date we wanted.

I'm with you...I think queen beds are totally worth it!

You are in the right place! I totally understand the info overload, but you are starting early and that is awesome! Lots of good advice and experience on the disboards. If I may throw my two bits in...learn as much as you can, but don't expect to be able to do everything in one visit. Happy planning!

Oh my gosh, absolutely do not try to do everything or you'll ge so stressed out! My biggest piece of advice is just to roll with things. Even the best laid plans don't always work out...for instance, we didn't plan on MIL passing out last year, or my FIL almost chopping off his toes 6 weeks before their first trip with us, but we managed to have awesome trips anyway. Have fun!!

Dh didn't want to make the change. We are planning on doing 3 Wp days and he just don't want to have to leave early to go to ADR's. Then we would have to loose the WP&F option off our tickets for the upgrade. So we are staying put.

Although in 2013, it looks like we will be going back to our regular December vacation slot (maybe November). So I'm not sure if or when we will be back in September. But it is nice to see the same faces--ok screen names--from one year to the next!

2013 we will be there in December too. disneydiva, 2pirates&1princess and I will be hitting MVMCP before our 7 nt Fantasy Cruise the week of Dec 14th. Getting our Christmas fix without being away from our family on Xmas. Can't wait, but I have to get through Sept 2012 first!!!

I miss MVMCP! We like to go mid-December for the same reason--we get our Disney Christmas fix without actually being there during Christmas! That cruise sounds awesome. I really hope the Fantasy does shorter sailings at some point because I would love to see it. It's just so hard to get off of work for that long!

I'm also a first timer, been researching since New Years Day just to figure out where to eat!!!!! Now I finally feel like I have that covered, and with the schedule, trying to figure out which nights to do what based on who is open late, etc. It should be an interesting week for sure!
