I hesitate to add myself to this list since I have postponed my trip twice now but we plan on staying off site the last week of September.

We went the last week of September in 2009 and loved it. We did MNSSHP and may or may not do it again ???

I so understand what you are saying and feeling, we had to cancel our vacation last November just 3 weeks before going and so far this time we have changed our dates twice so far to take advantage of first the FD promo and more recently the room discounts currently out there. I started to work on a preliminary park schedule in order to decide on our ADR's but I am hesitant and have put it to the side, I have this lingering feeling something is going to go haywire again.

When I saw your avatar picture I thought we had been on a countdown before, it must have been Nov lol. We went from Dec to nov/dec to feb. I keep going to book the off site room and then having this sinking feeling that I shouldn't do it. I can't switch dates like I did with disney which is bad because apparently I switch a lot but good because I will KNOW this is when our vacation is.

Before the day is out I WILL just go ahead and make the res. Hopefully the will switch to

Pulling my hair trying to decide on ADR's. I don't know if I should do CRT (2 credits is a lot for a meal) or Akershus. My daughter really likes Ariel and I want to make sure she gets to meet her. We are doing one park a day (so far) and am planning on CP for our MK day. Any help would be appreciated. What has been everyones fav between CRT and Akershus?

I am really trying to decide what one TS meal to pay OOP for. We are going on the QSDP like last fall, and last fall we did Biergarten OOP. Since we just did the DxDP in Decmeber, I'm ok with not eating more than one maybe 2 sit down meals, but it's so hard to decide which one!

Yes, you are correct I was on the November thread. I normally do not switch but I have twice already with this trip, trying to save money using there promotions, we started out end of October, went to end of Sept/early Oct and with the latest discounts that came out pushed it up 3 more days

We've done Akershus twice and CRT once. Both are great but I think you get more for your money with Akershus. If you on the DDP it's only one TS for Akershus versus two for CRT, both give you a free photo (Akershus with Belle and CRT with Cinderella) and I found the princess spent a bit more time with us at Akershus.

But whereever you decide to go, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. Good luck!

I was sorta bummed that we had to move our trip from 47 days out to September.. but DH reminded me that we might be there during MNSSHP!!!!! Now very excited!

I totally understand. Now September seems SO far away... just gives us more time to obsessively plan, right?

So I already had paid for a day at POR to reserve my spot and I paid with a rewards card. So instead of canceling (because if I cancel they will reimburse a rewards card that doesn't exist, and then the rewards card will have to reissue a card - lesson learned I will never book disney with a rewards card ) we're going to arrive on a Friday - 9/23 and stay on site for one night and then switch to the off site condo for the following week. We have never stayed for eight nights so I am pretty excited!

We did character meals last time we went and we loved Chef Mickey so may do that again. We did not do Tusker House for characters but we enjoyed it for lunch so maybe we will give it a try this time. Cooking in the condo and more time to save, maybe I can justify two TS meals OOP

Yes.. yes it does! I am actually still worn out from March planning.. did alot of that! I plan to read boards and put dates in my work calendar with a reminder to get my stuff together for dining reservations and airfare stalking but may take a month off or so! My DH is about done with talking about it for sure!

It really is better all the way around, but my girl still better get lots of practice in for this festival in strings that caused the switch!

I just booked a CR MK view room for 9/17-9/24/2011 using the "Save Up to 40% on Late Spring or Late Summer Travel at Select Disney Resort Hotels" discount. I plan to add park tickets later using the Florida resident discount and probably buy into TIW to defray some of the dining cost.

I've wanted to stay in the CR since I was a teenager... I'm really looking forward to the trip; my DS is not but that's only because we're keeping it a secret. He'll find out when we drive in under the Walt Disney World welcome sign...

Were going back Sept 29th to Oct 8..so I guess technically Im part of both threads, but Sept is the month we love the most in Disney! I cant wait, it feels like its still years away!!!

This is my first post, and I'm excited to join you all in your planning! DH and I are going to be staying at POFQ Sept 10-18! We are taking advantage of the Free Dining promotion, and even upgraded to the DxDP because we loooove food! Can't wait to make those ADRs in March.
