*Official September 2011 Thread!* Who's joining me?!

September canNOT get here fast enough... not that I'm wishing away the summer (although I'd like to wish away all of the snow and cold weather right now!!!), but I just can't wait to be back "home".

I'll admit, I can't imagine not having the park hopper option. I'm not sure if on our 2 trips that we've ever stayed @ 1 park all day. I love having the option of going to a park in the a.m., going back to the resort for a rest or swim, and then going to another park in the p.m. Love having that flexibility. And if it seems too crowded in, say, the MK in the early afternoon, I like that I can jump on the monorail and head over to EPCOT for awhile. :)

I can't wait to get to make ADRs, too. I love all of the planning and things that go into each trip (although it does make me crazy from time to time!).

Hurry up September!!

I am in too! We're planning on Sept 17 - 24 and I am so excited! I'm thinking probably CBR but we haven't made ressies yet, waiting to do our taxes first.

I changed my dates to September 12-18 and changed hotels to the CR. I had my heart set on it and said what the heck!!! I'm so excited I can't stand it!! I have decided there is something wrong with me.:lmao: Oh well just going to enjoy it!!!:banana::woohoo::woohoo:

I am not going in Sept but this page had 6,666 views so I just had to change that. :rotfl:

I am trying to work out my ADR schedule for now I am going by last years TA Calendar then when this years Sept park hours come out I will just have to make minor adjustments. Link to TA Calendar below.

Disney tends to run certain events on the same park days year after year, ex: Fantasmic on Sun and Thurs, same with Party nights at MK, etc etc so you can get a good idea of just what this coming years park hours and events might be by reviewing last years calendar.

I also buy Touring Plans and he already has the crowd calendar for September 2011 but expect it to change as we get closer to September.

Another good site is easywdw.com and it is free, you can see last years calendar there and his predictions for last year plus it has tons of other usefull information on the site

I too think buying park hoppers is well worth the added cost, I to do AK only half day, and I like the freedom to go to say MK in the morning , go back to my resort for a mid-day break and then go to a different park in the evening for dinner. It comes in handy to if you get to a park and it just happens to be too crowded for some reason you and pick up and head over to someplace else.

So is that about normal for their hours every year? Can I expect the hours to be about the same?

Well you pay for Park Hopper tickets.. which is a little more, but sometimes worth it! I like to have them for the ease of going where I want to when I want to, and with Park Hoppers you can go to all 4 parks if you were so inclined in one day! I like starting out at HS and ending at Epcot. I also think AK is not a full day park so I like being able to park hop to get to another park! You just pay for Park Hopper option whichever way you want to get tickets!

I also paid for touringplans.com.. they give you info on past attendence and forecasted for your dates so you have an idea where to go to avoid the big crowds in any given day!

Good luck!

I'm thinking about doing the touringplans.com. Anything to help me plan will be worth it.
I'll be starting my very first pre-trip report in a few days.

Title: A brainwashed daughter, an obsessed mom and an “all I want is burgers and fries” dad pre- trip report…

Decided we needed one more day....so I added it today...

So we will be at CSR Sept 23-Oct 2 :thumbsup2

We went last September for our first September trip and fell in love with the low crowds and not too too hot temps. Also it is DD's birthday in September so that was magical for her.
