OFFICIAL Sept. 2009

Ugh -- false alarm got my heart rate up.

Was excited and then nervous about no EMH dates......back to waiting.

We are going to celebrate our son's 12th b-day & we're staying in the Treehouse Villas from 9/17 to 9/26 on DVC points though, so no free dining :sad2: but still REALLY excited!! :goodvibes

We are going Sept. 2 - Sept. 8!!!! Our first family trip. Our daughter will be turning 4 a couple of days after we get home so we will be celebrating her birthday in the park.

Staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (animals are her favorite - she has no interest in princesses so this is going to be so exciting for her)!

We will be there Sept 27 - Oct 4 at SSR and we are celebrating our son's adoption. :yay:

I really thought I posted on this thread but maybe not:confused3
We are celebrating my birthday in WDW staying at POP from Sept 12-19th :yay:.

:scared1:The weather this spring has been very rainy down there. The last 2 years that we've been down there in Sept./Oct. timeframe has been sunny and nice. I'm wishing for a great September!:dance3:

Hi everyone!!

We will be at the World from September 12 through September 28. We're staying at CBR from the 12th through the 21st, then the BC from the 22nd through the 28th.

We will be celebrating our daughter's 4th birthday which is September 21st. It is also our son's first trip to Disney World. I was seven months pregnant with him on our last family trip.

I'm SO excited!!! :yay:

LOL. It took a lot of saving scrimping, and convincing to get my DH to agree to such a long vacation. I was able to convince him with the lure of the Food and Wine Festival at the end of the trip.

I also used the logic that it would be cheaper to take one long trip this year instead of two shorter ones because we would save on airfare by only having to buy one flight! ;)

So, I'm up trying to figure out our schedule so I can make ADR's. Can't believe AK hours are not up yet.:headache: DH is asleep still and I can't remember what he wanted. (I sort of dropped the ball on this trip, been preoccupied with the July trip I had to rearrange this week.)

Curious, are many of you planning on using the evening EMH? Just thinking the resorts are going to be so full, what is EMH going to be like? Don't want to do the morning because I am hoping this trip is a little more relaxing.

I think we'll leave the evening EMH's up in the air, and decide that day if we feel like we haven't seen enough of the park yet - I think we'll be more likely to go to the ones that have EMH's that go past 10, since the later it gets, the more likely the families will be back at their resorts, so it won't be as crowded.

Well, I think we will end up doing the same thing. Someone mentioned hours for AK on another Sept thread, does anyone know if AK is having EMH in the morning of Sept 7th. I went ahead and booked breakfast at Tusker House at 8:05, probably an EMH day with my luck.

Actually, yes, the schedule from the TAs has morning EMH at AK on the 7th. However, we can't guarantee that's correct.

*Grand Gathering* Sept 26 - Oct 3 taking daughter and her family and celebrating DH Birthday Oct 2 and his retirement!!! :yay::yay::yay:
