Now you really think you can come here, late to the party, and throw that out without giving us the skinny? Come on, give it to us... Were you guys extras? Who did you see up close? What did think of the people you worked with etc...?

No, not from Carolina, but I did spend 5 miserable summers in Durham in the 70's. But I do have great memories of Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle and Holden Beach from the 70's all through the 90's.

Yes we used to do the extra thing a lot. Not so much now that gas is a thousand dollars a gallon. You spend more getting there than you'd make. Up close? The only person we have not worked with is Chad but I have been to his old house that was in Landfall. (The one he shared with Sophia) Everyone on the set was very down to Earth and friendly. I know when they do the charity games (my sister always goes, we don't) Chad is kind of a jerk, like he's better than everyone else. He doesn't meet people or sign anything unless you make a huge donation but everyone else hangs out, takes pics, all that. If you guys are huge fans that's the time to visit Wilmington! It's one big party! I love the show, but my true obsession is Gavin DeGraw. Check out my current trip report for OTH and Gavin pics & info. Wow, that was a long wait!

So, we didn't see Peyton and Lucas together at all this episode? Kinda weird.

I'm beginning to think that Victoria didn't have anything to do with Brooke's attack. Did she leave her gun there? Is she crazy?! LOL

I like Deb and Skills together. Cracked up when Jamie called him "grandpa". Bwahaha. And his logic is awesome... "I let you kiss my momma". Hehe. Love that kid!

I was reminded of something I wanted to comment on... Any of you ladies aghast at what passes for funeral attire in One Tree Hill? I was cracking up at the cocktail black-tie attire the girls were wearing at Q's funeral. Around here, you wouldn't even wear something like those dresses to church, Period!!

Jamie was so darn cute this week. Love him.

You know it's funny because I was just at a family funeral in NY and my cousins and friends of the family were dressed in black cocktail dresses. I personally wore a pant suit but I am seeing this more and more lately.

Jamie is just adorable! This show is so addicting. I hope they keep it on for a very long time! And I agree with another poster that said next weeks episode preview looks like something from the movie "Children of the Corn" LOL

I went to a funeral in Florida and was appalled to see my relatives dressed like hookers! Thankfully they're distant relatives , but my whole family was shocked to see mini dresses and cleavage were the dress code. Especially since it was their grandfather .

I've never been an extra, I have watched them filming quite a bit (as I used to do with Dawson's). One of the locations was on the street directly behind my old office, the trucks/crew usually parked in the lot beside our office.

I've heard that Chad isn't the friendliest but that Sophia/James/Bethany are all super friendly, from what I've heard Sophia is one of the nicest stars to film here (along with Josh Jackson).

Oh yes Sophia is so sweet! And she's so beautiful in person. The only one we have not met or worked with is Chad. Everyone was very nice and great to my kids. Josh was a sweetie too. As was Katie Holmes back then...I bet she's not so friendly anymore. If I lived in town I'd do the extra thing a lot more but Myrtle Beach is an hour away and with todays gas prices it doesn't "pay" to do it. If you guys wanna see pics I have some location shots in my current trip report and in the older trip report you can find pictures of my kids with James and Sophia. There's a link to that in the second one. OTH is the BEST show on TV!
