Official ONE TREE HILL Thread

I for one am just glad that Mouth is coming home! Brooke needed a Millie when she was in high school. What does everyone think of Nathan's new team? I think it's funny.

I have a bad feeling about this new team of Nathan's.

And I am sooo happy that Mouth is back! WOOHOO!!!!

SOOOOOOOOOOO what did everyone think of last night's episode?

Here's my breakdown:

Jaime- I get that he's 5. I get that he's a kid... but they've built this show up a little too much regarding him and his super human kid powers that he has and I just thought it was kind of pathetic how haley and nathan AND DAN were making such a big deal out of it. I thought Nathan's (and Brooke's) way of doing it was the best one, though!

Haley- Glad she's singing again:) She sounded good!! And I will admit that seeing her push that other mother was kinda funny... just because it was haley.

Nathan- So hot practicing his dunking! :lovestruc

Brooke- I feel sorry that Sam's being difficult, but i'm kind of glad in the same way that she doesn't just have this perfect kid handed to her. It now makes sense why Sam's always at that diner thing. And Owen.... really?

Lucas/Peyton- House Arrest? LOL. some of the stuff was kind of funny, but overall cheesy!

Dan- I love how he is with Jaime, but must there be something every single episode about how he murdered someone? The thing with that kids mom was a little much!

Overall, the episode was good, just a lot of it was REALLY cheesy, lol

Ok gals... Is the character of Owen posing so much because he is supposed to be self-absorbed and thinks he's God's gift?? or are all those facial expressions just simply bad acting. Reminds me of a bad soap opera actor or really bad Lifetime movie.

Is that supposed to be the best Brooke can do? I don't see any chemistry between them, even last season. Bring back a man of substance like Chase or the Pediatric Cardiologist.

The Lucas/Peyton thing started out contrived, but in the end I enjoyed seeing them have some lighthearted fun with each other.

I did enjoy Haley's singing at the end, and I'm not her biggest fan.

Jamie is still way cute.

I'm trying to figure out where this season's story arc is headed. Is this the last season for sure? or just rumored? If it's the last one for sure, I think they'll have Naley expecting again for sure. Anyone else?

I thought last night's episode was kind of....boring. That hurt to type that.

I agree. I was really overall, dissapointed with how the show went. However, considering how the first few episodes played out, and how intense they were, I think they need to have a couple fun/boring episodes to lower everyone's blood pressure:)

Anyone see gossip girl last night???

WOW!! I just saw last nights show. I had taped it on DVR. I can't believe that Gigi is back!!!

Wow, what a great episode.

It's nice to see that Brooke finally disciplined Sam....goodness knows she really needs it!

Mouth has GOT to nip that S*** in the bud with Gigi. Gotta stop NOW!

I'm sorry, but I love Owen. He's HOT! I think he and Brooke are very cute together.

I KNEW not to trust that producer guy. But what is the story...?? Him and Peyton used to date..?? She needs to tell Luke ASAP.

More tomorrow after some good sleep.

I liked this episode, too!
The begining scene was funny...
Sam: You're kinda short
Jaime: I'm 5...what's your excuse?:rotfl:

Speaking of Sam and Jaime... ummmmm :confused3 ... what was sam thinking taking a FIVE YEAR OLD to a party? I'm glad Brooke is punishing her and i LOVE seeing Owen as the take charge kind of guy. He would make a very good father.

The producer: yuck. i knew something was up too. I wonder what the deal was with him and peyton. She needs to tell Luke right away, but i have a feeling that she wont and that will be the reason that the wedding doesn't happen. Bad omens are happening with that whole thing, producer guy in town, her wedding dress being ruined and luke seeing it before the wedding day... some stuff is just adding up.

Haley and Nathan... I LOVE THEM! They are back to their lovey-dovey selves and they are just so cute:)

Mouth... he needs a wake up call. He's too nice to tell GiGi to knock it off in the way that she'll know he's serious. Her attitude kind of makes me angry b/c i love mouth and millie.

Yeah I think that's about it for this week

Am I the only one who doesn't like the whole Lucas/Peyton thing? I don't know, she just bugs me.

I have a feeling that this driector guys going to tear them apart. I like them together, but I don't think they are meant to be. I think Lucas has a lot of growing up to do... peyton too, for that matter, befor either of them are ready to settle down

This Samantha chick has GOT to go. I don't like her at all and I don't like her messing with my Jamie

I ♥ Owen. I'm so glad they brought him back.

I am REALLY sick of this Samantha chick. Will she ever learn??

I KNEW that producer guy would tear apart Lucas & Peyton.....didn't someone predict that the wedding would never happen..??

So glad to see Brooke inspired and sketching again. And I adore Owen..I want him for myself!

I am glad Lucas was able to write the Keith scene....I think it will be good closure for him.

First of all... the producer guy... where do i know him from??? I know i've seen him on some other movie or tv show.

Anyway-

Since i'm on the topic of julian- I think I like him. His flashbacks with peyton made him seem really genuine. And i used to be a leyton fan, but now im just getting kind of sick of it, so i kind of hope that peyton and lucas don't get married.

Sam- my goodness. I see she's changing, but Jaime really looks up to her and she's teaching him bad things! Haley just kind of shrugs it off, too. :confused3

Nathan- OMG i freaked out a bit when he went flying through that wall. that was REALLY unexpected. I'm glad he's ok and i'm glad he gave up slamball.

Brooke/Owen- I REALLLLLLY want them to get back together. REALLLLLLLLY badly.

Mouth- He needs to get rid of GiGi. Now. I do NOT like her, lol

Lucas/Dan scene- I actually really liked and I was glad that he decided to write the final scene. I hate dan w/ Jaime because it makes me love dan and I know i shouldn't love Dan. ugh! emotions, lol.

bump for tonight's episode. Looks like it's going to be a really cool one! I love it when show's go back to the 40's era. and.... chad directed this one. Should be cool:)

I never thought I would say this but...it was OK. Liked the Naley scenes and Nathan going to war. Gross to Dan kissing Haley! Poor Mouth being dumped in the river. Wonder if anything else will come out of the last scene with Peyton falling to the ground in pain from the "gunshot wound" from the flashback?

I was actually really bored with it. Probably one of my least favorite episodes of all seasons and i was really lookg forward to it because it could have had so much potential:)

Dan kissing Haley... ummmmmmmm :confused3 GROSS.

I loved the naley scenes though with nathan being a little submissive this time around! "i was wonderin' if you wanted to step out with me?"... "well why don't you stop wonderin' and ask me". :goodvibes

Peyton/Dan... whatever. didn't do anything for me. and brooke, i KNEW she was going to try and shoot dan, and i knew there wasn't going to be any bullets in the gun!

Peyton REAL LIFE... i'mcurious as to what that falling down grabbing her stomach thing was all about because next weeks previews don't really even make any mention of it at all.

Mouth- I liked him!!! But I didn't like seeing him being thrown in the river. Same with Owen... beating the crap out of him... why?!?

My opinion: Lucas needs to stick to acting because his writting/directing needs a little work:goodvibes

I'm a little mixed on my review of last night's episode. While I thought it was good in theory and throughly enjoyed the concept and costumes, I felt like the voice of the episode was inconsistent and that comes from poor writing. The dialogue at times was consistent with the 1940s and at times sounded current day. Some of the actors were better than others at making the transition back to the 40s.

The characters of Peyton and Dan seemed most believable to me as being in that era. Haley was good also. Nathan, while he is adorable, I think he's just learning his craft.

The only thing I could correlate to current day is that the message of the dream, the importance of Peyton to Lucas's life. The rest of it might just be the chaotic jumbled mess that dreams usually are, people you know doing crazy things that don't make a bit of sense.

With all of the DRAMA of this season so far I had really hoped it would be much more lighthearted than that. Oh well.

I loved Haley singing the Karen's Cafe song.
