Is this the last season?

All indications are that this will be the end. In fact, there was serious doubt as to whether it would be back this year. Additionally, there were two endings for last year just in case there wasn't an 8th season. This season is going to be shorter, but at least we have it!

Just the Quinn/Clay stuff. I was fine until I saw the previews for next week. I'm assuming the shooting was real and everything else (including the previews for next week) is a part of one of their dreams.

Anyone want to speculate on Haley and Nathan's doctor visits? Will one or both have a problem?

First I want to say hello and I am so glad that there is a OTH thread here on the DIS so I can discuss it with others. I started watching OTH during its 2nd Season and watched ever since.

The shooting was real. Quinn and Clay appear to be in limbo. It doesn't seem likely that the two of them would survive that type of shooting but there's a lot on OTH that seems unbelievable.

Anyone want to speculate on Haley and Nathan's doctor visits? Will one or both have a problem?

I think everything will be ok for Haley. I don't think they would write something bad for her with everything she's been going through lately. Nathan, on the other hand, I could see him having a problem. Maybe something with his back (from his earlier injury) or even his heart. But I do hope he gets to play in the NBA. I love those two characters and really don't want to see anything bad happen to them.

I haven't seen this week's show. I'm waiting on my college girl to come home so we can watch together. Sounds like it's a great show but pretty sad, too!

I am so sad because last night's show didn't record. I was able to read some of the recaps online but I couldn't find out what the story with Alex was. Does anyone know?

She got a role as a bartender in a movie and Chase found out about after finding her script at Tric. He got mad because he felt that she only took the job at Tric because of the role and also because she hadn't told him about the movie. So they got into a fight, he said he didn't think it was going to work between them, and at the end of the episode she left to go do the movie.

Me too! It is my favorite show. I don't know when the last one is supposed to air and I was really worried when I was watching the last episode that it was ending.

That was the MOST stressful episode of a TV show that I have ever watched. I was bawling my eyes out.

That episode may have actually been a form of what the finale was going to be. Going into this season, we were only going to get an abbreviated season. I think the original plan was for the series to end in December. So, what was there was probably a part of a finale. It was certainly highly emotional. There were parts I just couldn't watch, so I made my girls watch and give a commentary!
