Just called back, and their systems are down.

The CM sounded really happy!

I was in the middle of getting my AP discount when the system was going down, so a lovely lady took my phone number and called me back after she had secured the new booking to get my Credit Card number and cancel my existing reservation. I had to move from French Quarter to Riverside but we saved a good amount of cash so that's OK.

Public room only codes probably won't be out for a couple of weeks, package deals will be soon.

However, there are slim pickings and from reading it doesn't seem like much is available at the Contemporary.

The computer just froze up when I was seeing about changing my reservations- looks like the system may be going down again!

Apparently, I keep breaking Disney!

Why would reservations be down mid day? I called at 12:30 and got off the phone at 1pm. They went down for about 2 minutes during that time but came right back up.

Impatiently waiting for 7am tomorrow! I want a code for us "public" folks!

Sorry you didn't get in...I got in twice. Once to get them to add the code and she said it was going down, took my info and then she called me back when it was up. Then I called back about 10 minutes ago to check on the dining card (which had already been added to my reservation without having to ask!) and it was up...I'm sorry you are not getting in I know how frustrating that is.

After booking this morning, I am now thinking about adding a day (or so) to the end of the trip. Anyone else ever end up extending their trips after booking - due to the excitment?

Keep calling, it took me six tries to get my December trip worked out. My TA got us $113 off at YC for our Oct./Nov. trip plus the $75 dining card. I'm really happy about that!

Hey all! I have a question that I hope someone can help me answer. I am looking to book a trip for the first week in October. I am looking to do a package but may do the room only. Will there be a code available to the public released soon? I know that no one knows for sure but I would like to know before I book a room and can't get it cheaper. We are looking to stay at the Pop Century if that makes a difference.

I didn't use the Visa discount, but yesterday I got home and there was a postcard waiting for me. I called for my dates during the first week of October and got $30 off per night at POFQ.

I was unable to get any discount at all for our stay Oct. 12-15 at YC. The CM said they would not be issuing any further discounts for the early part of October because it was so busy. She did offer to switch me to WL with an AP discount but since I'm going mainly for Food & Wine, I didn't want to switch.

To make this topic-relevant- I just called again, and ended up changing to AKL standard view ($208.13) and All Star Sports ($89.27), both with the free dining cards! (I wanted Pop, but AS Sports was the only one available with free food, so I took it!)

Wait, does this mean that there will be discounts coming out for the packages? Meaning the ones including dining and tickets? If so, when do those typically come out?

Got the scoop on code FEL for October and November.

It is for check-in days 10/21 - 10/27 and 10/28 - 11/3 and be at least a 2 night stay.

In November it is for check-ins 11/11 - 11/17.

Values receive a $20 gift card and moderates a $50 gift card.

What if we check in on 10/20?
Our trip is from 10/20 to 10/27

Can we get the gift card? When I applied my AP discount this morning the CM didn't say anything about the gift card.

When I called this morning to get my AP discount applied the CM didn't mention the gift card either, so I called back later and asked about it...and the CM I talked to then said it was already applied and would be added to the room key when we checked in...if I were you I would call and ask.
