Official October Code Watch

For 10/26 -10/31 (6 nights) AKL Standard view with tax: 1248.75; AKL Pool view with tax (1 queen and bunk beds): 1485.00; ALK Savannah view with tax (1 queen and bunk beds): 1890.00.

ANyone know if you can make a ressie with an AP voucher online and get the AP discount - or do you have to deal with the CRO?

We just booked two rooms at POP Oct. 31 - Nov 3 for $79/night for the couple of days before our cruise.

I called my mom to have her book her room & I told her the Code FEX, well she miss heard me & told the CM S E X. :scared1: The CM, a guy, laughed & told her, "No, Disney wouldn't do that."

This years' codes stink, but I'm still hoping for good Fl resident discounts to be better.

I have a voucher and was just trying to make a reservation online. I can get on the Passholder website, but when I try to bring up the rate it goes back to the main page. I don't know why, though. Maybe it's just very busy.

If Disney can't do better than this we might just be making our last trip in January for the marathon. I mean Universal is offering 7 day passed for 85 dollars. And although "their" hotels are a bit more expensive at least they have FOTL access. Disney is charging an arm and a leg right now for Values, and I love the values but let's be honest, they aren't much better than any other off site resort, they just have a disney name stamped on them. Sorry, just ranting.

Anyway, the last guy I talked with said that it is normal for the AP rates to be released but not all of the hotels to have rooms at that rate released yet. He went ahead and booked me at POP and told me to keep calling back to change it to the AP rate, he (and one of the other guys I talked to) are sure that more rooms will open up later.

Ok, got our room.

Oct 12-14 at Port Orleans Riverside Standard view. Total (including tax) was $312.76.

Other availability I had to choose from was Caribbean Beach, Music and Sports. Nothing available at French Quarter, Coronado, Movies or Pop Century. I did not check deluxe as that was out of our budget for this trip.

We weren't too picky about where to stay as we check into AKV on Sunday. It was a little more for the mod than I wanted to pay, but not too bad.

Just booked using code FEL which I saw on the passholder website. It gives you a free $20 dining card at check in!:cheer2:
The CM did say that the codes FEL and FEX would give me the same rate for my dates - since the rates are dependent upon which resort and week.
See you Oct. 25- Oct 30 at POP!!!

I have spent the entire morning looking for reservations for Pop for Oct26-29. After seeing you got reservations for the 25-30 I went and checked those dates and can get the AP rate. What the heck!! So I am gonna change my date for the 25-30 and later I will drop those two days. That is just freakin' ridiculous!!

Just booked 3 days at ASSports (OCt 18-21), and 3 days at Pop Century (Nov 2-Nov 5) to sandwich our DVC Food and Wine Festival stay. I had my choice of Music, Sports, or Pop. I didn't ask about Moderates. The wait was a little long but definitely worth it!:yay:

Just used code FEX for october 26-28 and got a rate of $324 CSR water view. I believe that's after tax. We had to move from POFQ because the CM said no discounts there. (said to check back later in the week) I have 3 rooms booked and she gave me the AP rate for all 3. I asked about the new rule and she stated it isn't being used yet. :confused3 If my rate is on the hard copies when they come they cannot change them can they?

I was able to get WL courtyard view for $240/night (saved $48 a night!) for October 19-23! Yippee! I hope everyone else is getting their wish too!

My TA checked on my reservation this morning and said that the AP rate was actually higher than my AAA rate. Crazy! :confused3 I guess all my stress and worring wasn't necessary after all. :goodvibes

Well. I changed my dates from Oct 26-29 to Oct 25-30 and got the AP rate of 79 a night. Now all I have to do is call back later and change the dates back to the 26-29 and I'll get to keep my AP rate, and get the dates I originally wanted. Goodness, this has been ALOT of trouble but at least I got the room and rate that I wanted. Now after 2.5 hours on the phones I am gonna go get all the kids dressed and fed!!

I called this morning, changed resorts to get the rate, was told there was nothing at POFQ, so I moved to CSR for 139.50 a night I saved $145.35, but I am going to keep trying to get back to POFQ. I am very happy with my rate for Oct 25-Oct 28 :)

I booked an SSR studio for 10/19-28 @ $1,965. Not too bad, but I'm a little disappointed b/c I really want to stay at AKL, but nadda. :confused3 I'll keep trying back. If not, SSR should be nice, right?

Just booked using code FEL which I saw on the passholder website. It gives you a free $20 dining card at check in!:cheer2:

See you Oct. 25- Oct 30 at POP!!!

What is this?? Hmm, guess I am going to have to call back to get a dining card. I didn't see anything on the passholder site, only the code that goes through 9/29, nothing for the new dates released today.

Got the scoop on code FEL for October and November.

It is for check-in days 10/21 - 10/27 and 10/28 - 11/3 and be at least a 2 night stay.

In November it is for check-ins 11/11 - 11/17.

Values receive a $20 gift card and moderates a $50 gift card.

I got POR Oct 18-21 for 418.50. I REALLY wanted WL or a mod other than POR since we've stayed there three times but that was all he was able to find. I actually have POR on hold so I guess I'll keep checking as I'm hopeful WL, POFQ or maybe CSR has something available. I wonder if using the FL res rate would give me any other options??
