I talked with a very nice and chatty CM yesterday. I'm trying to change resorts for my October stay so I call approximately 2-3 times a week with the hopes a room will become available at CBR. Once I told her I was an AP holder and was hoping for AP room rates, she told me to 'hold tight, and call back on Friday the 10th'. I told her that it would be great to spend more money at the Food and Wine Festival rather than spending it on our room. She said an AP rate should be released by the end of next week

I think it would be a good idea to book your room with a deposit. Than once the AP rates become available, you can call WDW and ask them to apply the discount to your ressie

I always book my room when we start planning a WDW trip and I've never had a problem applying a discount later. The only time I had a problem was when I didn't book a room and than when the discounts were released, there were'nt any discounted rooms left at the resorts where wanted to stay

Mom2twocuties & magical hoosier Stay an extra 2 days and we can have an Indiana party!! We are visiting the mouse on 10/22-10/30.

I live in Alexandria - about an hour north of Indy. I go to Mooresville several times a year (my dh had his knees and hip done @ St. Francis) You've just got to love my 50 year old bionic man! LOL!

Anyhoo, just wanted to say . . . since we are all going to get great rates when these codes finally come out, you should extend your vacation and stay that Indiana Party!

I think you will have to show the AP (or an AP voucher) when you check in, and if you don't get it till you get there you won't have it to show. You can book with an AP voucher but then you already have to have paid for the AP, just not activated it yet.

I'm subscribing to this thread because I am playing travel agent for my sister and her family. They will be in WDW 10/24 - 10/31. I got their plane tickets ($119 for non-stop RT flights on NWA from Indy) and am now not-so-patiently waiting for October package discounts to arrive. My poor BIL is a nervous wreck calling me every few days to see if any discounts are out yet. I'm headed down to WDW with my two girlfriends in 42 days . so I'll make sure everything is all set for you October DISers !!

I am the same situation, I am in DVC and I am helping to plan a dear friends first trip to WDW, got flights on SW for $118, non-stop, booked them into AsMov and have booked their ADRs now we are waiting on a code to release. I just got them to agree to move if the code doesn't cover ASMov. I know that sometimes that is the one All-star left out of a code group, but our fingers are crossed.

Just called to check about new discounts, rates, etc. They're working on enhancements to their system and can't check on that information at this time. What a crock!!!! That's what you have 10p.m. til 7 a.m. for!!!

Maybe the new enhancements are the codes we are waiting for. (More likely the new ticket rates and 2008 prices, though).

Just got off the horn....rates are available for 2008 right now. There are no discounts released for anything past 9/29, so no change there.
