I’ll post!!October always seems to have the most people who are most uninterested in posting to a month thread.![]()
I also have gone for the last few Januarys. My grandchildren wanted to go in October, and you never say "No" to grandchildren wanting to go to WDW! We'll be at OKW, anyone else?We haven't been in Oct in a few years.. Have been going in January the past couple. Was definitely surprised to not find a group here.
We like to park hop, especially when staying at an Epcot or MK resort. But we have also traveled with extended family who did not have park hoppers. The disadvantage of not having park hoppers is the effect on evening plans. If it is a park like Animal Kingdom, a half day park for us, we would go to dinner in Disney Springs. If we want to catch fireworks, concert, or more rides, our options were limited. If you are buying six day or seven-day tickets, the additional cost per day could be worth the money, especially when party plans affect one of the parks.... impatiently waiting MNSSHP dates/tickets to be released ...
This is going to be my first trip in a long while that I've gotten to plan for just 3 of us. My first in a long while that's not been hoppers passes. I'm super excited for less people to keep track up, but way unsure about not hopping (mostly due to dining).
Any suggestions? We're thinking 2 days at HS, 2 at EP, 1 at AK, 1 MK + 1 Party night.
Believe me, I would much rather go with Park Hoppers because you never know what could happen... people change their mind halfway through the day. But... My fiance's never been without Park Hoppers and he thinks it's going to be less stressful. I do say that I agree with him on the fact that you can take your time at one park instead of having to rush to go to another park for a reservation somewhere or something, but like having the option just in case.... I'm going about it gritting my teeth. Lol!! He really won't understand the difference until he's lived it.This thread needs to wake up.
We will be at the YC from Sept 29 - Oct 3rd
