So talked DH into two parties last night (if necessary and of course it will be ). So here is our schedule:

Oct 18: Arrive around 2:00 check in and head over to MK for a quick trip to make sure we are at Disney (family tradition).
Oct 19: Epcot
Oct 20: AK then MNSSHP
Oct 21: Hollywood Studios
Oct 22: MK
Oct 24: AK then MNSSHP
Oct 25: Epcot

Will post ADR's later Keith is holding is tummy and saying he is "starving" a little bit of a drama King.

You skipped a day! Where is the 23rd?? Oh, and btw, when DH acts like that, I still call him "the Queen." It happens frequently!

I LOVE our new luggage, but DBF thinks perhaps I spent money I didn't need to since we have luggage...blah, blah, blah.

He is right (sshh! don't tell him), but I really like it.... decisions, decisions...

Blah, blah, blah - I say that a lot to DH! I say if you like it, then it was needed!

Ya know, now that I think about it, at least I won't have to remember too many names when I visit with people in Disney World....the majority of the people I will be interacting with are all Lisa!

Oh, and my luggage isn't too new....I bought it in 2007 (I think). But I love it and it still looks brand new.

I got my costume today!!! I'm "Venus, Goddess of Love"!! I know the Greeks say Aphroditety is the goddess of love, but I'm not thin enough yet for that slinky costume. I almost bought the strappy up the leg sandles, but I couldn't take the heel. It's only 3", but I'm not of a size where I can stand on my toes for 8 hours. I have a pair of flat sandels that will get the job done.

Tommorrow, I take the kids on the hunt for DD10's costume. She knows what she wants, but I have to find the store that has it in her size (our local one doesn't). Also, Hubby bought all of us tickets to see Barnum and Baily Curicus tomorrow.

Well, Venus is the name of the Roman version of Aphrodite so you are okay! Silly Romans stole the Greek's deities and renamed them!

In other news, the corset piece of my costume came today. Turns out, I have no idea how to wear a corset. I tried it on, but I need someone to err...lace me up tighter. Not sure if this is gonna work for the party, but it sure is pretty!

Good morning friends.

I am so excited - yet scared. I am heading out to the UPS store to try to make our shirts again - The owner said they have made transfers before and it worked great. Here is to hoping that the paper doesn't melt AGAIN!!!

I guess if they don't get done this time - we won't have then, cause I will give up.

No mickey mail yet, but it has to go to my TA first, who is out of the state this week, after finding out her mother has cancer

Just wanted to pop in and share in the excitement. In less than 2 weeks we will be officially on vacation!!!

I have been so busy with work I barely have had time to work on costumes for MNSSHP and the Halloween fun family 5K. Still, I am determined not to give up and come up with something.

So far I have bits and pieces of what could be a fitness version of a fireside girl outfit from Phineas and Ferb for the fun run (I have an orange beret, brown running pants, orange shirt and will be making a silly sash with patches), so that's nearly there.

Still struggling with the costume for MNSSHP, I was going to sew a fancy outfit, but I have been working weekends and late every other day, so I have been left with no time. I better think fast LOL

This break is so very needed, I am looking forward to it like crazy!!

We discussed costumes last night. Yes, my DH actually discussed costumes. I'm pretty sure that's one of the signs of an impending apocalypse.

Anyway, the only Disney character he really wanted to go as was Lotso, and that would be way too hot. So he's leaning towards Cobra Commander. I'm leaning towards Minnie Mouse, but it's hard to find a dress that doesn't look like lingerie. Really, no one wants to see that. I don't sew so I'm limited to what I can buy online. DSis hasn't made up her mind yet. DS8 will get Buzz costume for a birthday present (the morning of the party).
