I spent much of today (too much!) revamping our schedule and making touring plans. But it needed to be done. We had several major changes -- adding MNSSHP, removing Fantasmic and switching my parents from a park day to our arrival day. I needed to make sure that everything fit and that everyone got to do what they wanted to do.
I feel a lot better about the overall plan now. One of the issues with adding the party was making sure DS8 got enough sleep. Getting rid of Fantasmic and switching my parents helped with that, and it's better for my parents.
And I was able to lessen some of my son's Fantasmic disappointment by adding in fishing. Yes, i've got the only kid on the planet that wants to come to Disney to go fishing.
Ever since he saw someone fishing in the canal last trip, he's been dying to do it. So my parents will be bringing the fishing gear. And we'll do some pool time too.
Also, since DS and I won't be going into the park that day, I was able to put in a TS dinner with my parents. We're not doing any other TS this trip because of F&W. I would have liked a character meal, but our only option was Garden Grove and what minimal reviews I could find about the food seem to be pretty bad. So we're planning Cape May instead. That should be fun.
And then we'll do the boardwalk, which is something we totally skipped last time. Maybe hit Beaches and Cream too.
Then 2 1/2 days in Epcot for F&W and MNSSHP.
I also was able to log into the Sheraton site and change my Dolphin reservation. Rack rates dropped on Friday so I was able to change to the new rate and save $200. This is still backup plan B because the Travelocity rate saves us a little more. But saving money is always good. And DSis pointed out -- maybe the S/D dropped their rates because they know Disney is about to put out a GP discount. So crossing my fingers.

I looked for my Lion King 2 (Simba's daughter), but I must've had that on VHS and not DVD. Rats. Now I'll have to go and look for that.

) I don't have to go shopping for luggage. I have a large gym bag that will work for DD's gear, DS's gear will go in the smaller suit case, and DH & my stuff will fit in the large suit case.
, party pooper. The rest of us have ours though. DD did get the gypsy princess costume. It almost didn't happen. This costume was a hold over from last year; they aren't making any more, so what the stores have is all they're going to get. Our local store had two, put they were to small. We found one a size bigger than she needs the next town over, but still fits and I don't have to modify it so that it's age appropiate
Seems hubby didn't want to deal with them anymore. LOL As the yard is his domain, I didn't care.....as long as I have a place to put my twinkly lights. I LOVE TWINKLY LIGHTS. No matter the color, I have them up all year. Primaries for Christmas and Yule, orange and purple for Halloween (although, I did see green and I liked them), and pastels for Spring.
23 more days for me.
