Katie, I'll be at POR with you. The 24th is our AK day, so we should be back to the resort around 4pm (I hope). I'm planning on taking the older two to MK that night for EMHs. Please let me know if you want to say Hi....although, it's kinda hard to miss me: I'm a short red-head with a loud mouth (I actually have to close my office door when I make phone calls, my voice carries that much! ). Maybe it's a South Jersey thing.......

What are you stay dates? And of course let's say hi! We're getting to POR around 3ish, probably hitting the pool for awhile and then heading down to DD for the night. I'm the short blonde haired girl with the loud mouth so we'll make quite a pair

We'll be there from the 16-23 Just 57 more days! We bought DVC points at BLT last fall and this will be our first trip staying DVC. We're so excited!

DD and I are doing the Halloween party on Sunday the 16th and Friday the 21st. I love going in October. We tried the F&W festival last year and had a good time but didn't really plan it right. So we are going to spend a little extra time there this year.

As DMGeurts siad (and welcome!), they are available on the CDs....they actually promote the CD if you listen long enough! (yes....I have been on hold that long. lol) There are also a couple of other Disney radio stations out there if you Google them.

On another note: wish me good weather for tonight, please. I am taking DD and my best friend's daughter to the Selena Gomez concert in Philly. HOWEVER, it's an outside venue and they are predicting thunderstorms. I already hardly slept last night. And our power was knocked out for quite a bit last night: lightning hit a transformer. I'll sing along to the songs I know (all two of them) for you!!!!!!

Have a great time at the concert, fingers crossed the storms hold off and are not bad ones.

I'm looking out my window now (I work in Malvern, just west of the city) and it's cloudy but there is still blue sky around. Here's hoping it holds off for you!! I'm really sick of these thunderstorms too! It's been 3 weeks of oppressive heat followed by 3 weeks of thunderstorms. Nuts to this!!! Let's go to Disney!!!

DW, my mother, and myself will be at BWI Oct. 21 - 25. This is the first trip to WDW that I've been planning. Previously Mom arranged & paid for everything, and we always had a large group (5 adults, 2 nieces, 1 nephew). We did so much running around that sometimes it didn't feel like a vacation!

This will be a quiet trip, mostly to check out the Food & Wine Festival. I know Mom's excited. She's already putting together a list of the food she wants to try, the desserts, and the champagne!

Best Husband - he just asked me to change our ADR time Yachtmen Steakhouse to an earlier time. I asked why and he said "just in case we want to do the Halloween Party twice".

So...about my reservations. Well, you all know how hubby wanted to eat with the princesses (and, I must admit, I really, really like the breakfast at Akershus better than Crystal Palace....plus, and no offense to anyone, it takes forever for Pooh and his friends to get to your table). Well, after trying for days and unable to snag a reservation on the 26th (which was the day I originally scheduled breakfast), I tried something. On Sunday, the 23rd, we were supposed to eat lunch at the San Angel Inn. I tried that for 1pm on the 26th. What'dya know? It was available. So, I then checked the 23rd for 8am for Akershus. SCORE!!!

So, we are not breakfasting with the princesses on Sunday morning the 23rd (after I do my quick (hopefully) re-check in at the front desk) and a late lunch on the 26th at the San Angel Inn. I am so happy I was able to do this for him. He loves Ariel, and I am going to try and let them know that so he maybe gets some special attention from her.

Alright...back to trying to figure out which way is up in my office. There is so much to do before tomorrow afternoon and it seems my inbox never stops getting full.

woo hoo- so glad you were able to get the breakfast!!! Does DH know or are you keeping it a surprise?

Speaking of Disney Music when I was on hold waiting to change and ADR i put the phone on Speaker so I could type messages on the Dis board. My kids loved the music it was music from the different rides from around the parks, so my question is do they sell CD's with park music? and if so where.

i have quite a bit of it. I think my sis downloaded a lot of it before napster went down etc. Plus between us we had quite a few CDs. I don't have WISHES, but that is almost all I am missing. I might buy that this time! I love listening! I also listen to LIVE365 at work- tons of disney stations on there- mouseworld, DIS, sorcerer radio and more. I love listening to the MK entrance music each morning!

We booked last week for 7 nights at POFQ October 26-Nov 2! Now to come up with the other $1300 that's on our balance by 9/11 our 45 days out point! Once it's paid then I will really be doing the happy dance! I'm sure we will be able to swing it but you never know anything could happen! Keeping my fingers crossed! I have always wanted to go during Halloween and this is like a dream trip because I am finally old enough for F&W!
