Bags are at the door, My dad is taking me to pick up the rental car in about an hour. I will have to take something to sleep tonight. Plan to set the alarm for 4am and have my coffee, then I will wake up DH & DD at 4:30am and should be out the door by 5am.

loll It's been a while since I've been on this thread so long that it still says we're staying at Pop, which is no longer so. I don't know if it make any difference now (since we're so close) but DH and I are now staying at BC, same dates.

YAY thank you!! Unfortunately you arrive 7 hours before us, so unless something major happens I doubt we'll connect at the airport. That would have been neat, but our plane doesn't land until 4pm.

We are leaving tomorrow from Nashville! Driving to Macon,Ga. and stay overnight. Arrive at Pop around noon. Bags are packed and I want to leave now!!!

First - to all you "nerds" I am lucky to be able to turn the stupid box on

FigmentChick - We received an Hyundai Sonata. It has plenty of room for 3 of us. DD walked up to my parents this afternoon and got her "bag" of presents (if you remember, she will receive 10 presents, opening 1 every our and 1/2 on Tuesday - her Birthday) Each present has a number and an envelope (with a poem) she has gone through this bag ALL afternoon.

I can't believe we are leaving in less then 12 hours. I am going to have to take something tonight to sleep, sometimes having panic attacks is a good thing RIGHT!!!!! - cause I have the xanex on hand to take so I can sleep. My chest is tight (nerves) and I can't breath (I HATE driving) But I know that we are going to have a BLAST!!!

Oh and the out-laws called about an hour ago to let me know they had arrived to Wilderness Lodge. YAY for them (do you feel my excitement?) HA, they STILL don't even know where we are staying they never have asked either.

Also, I downloaded the touringplans app last night, and WOW!!!! you don't even have to print the touring plan b\c they are right there on the phone. COOL. The crowds are looking bad for Sat, Sun, and Mon! Weather still looks the same....rain....but I am ok with it, b\c I WILL BE IN DISNEY!!!!!!

Sorry for the rant - I can't seem to stop talking either. I will be off line while at Disney - so I hope everyone else has a BLAST getting ready or while at Disney with me.

As a former teacher this is SUCH a great homework assignment to give while on vacation. I hope she didn't get too much else, but the journaling is really great because it helps make the trip educational even if they don't think so!

I totally agree i love the journaling idea, plus Kate loves to write. That is the only homework going to the park besides all the menu's she will be reading we have the Deluxe dining plan.

I'm tired. But what do you want to bet I won't be able to sleep?? It's almost surreal that it's finally here. My very first trip to WDW ever. I'll have my iPad with me at SSR, so I'll be sure to check in with you guys now and then.

I don't know whether I told you or not, but my hubby suffers from anxiety.....so bad he is disabled because of it (the hearing with Social Security was NOT pretty). Put it this way: I am taking enough Xanax on this trip to down a caribou. LOL But I'm not kidding. When he has a panic attack, there is just no stopping it. He can't breathe and it looks like he's having a heart attack. That's one reason we keep going to Disney - it's familiar to him and so he's calmer than he would be if we went somewhere else. He tries to live a "normal" life, but I told him that just doesn't exist for us anymore.

Anyway.....he'll have about three xanax before we even get on the plane. Getting off the plane is the fun part: I get to carry all my carry-ons PLUS the baby PLUS my husband. I kid you not, he will be leaning on me, almost comatose, when we land. Oh, the joys of vacation. ha ha ha

I can never sleep the night before either, ladies!!!! It's worse than Christmas Eve (at least then I get a couple of hours). But that's okay...that's what the flight is for, right?
