MNSSHP are finally up on the website!!:cool1: Still have not decided if I should buy now or wait:confused3

Here is the link: http://tickets.disney.go.com/buy/TicketTrans#subcat1

I wasn't planning on buying my tickets today but went over this morning to check on the price and oddly enough although the evening I am planning on going is listed in the dates section, my date is not offered for sale online? Maybe this is because it is a non-discounted night? :confused3

I read on another thread that the non-discounted nights can many times end up being less crowded, I can see why if people go online to purchase and thoses dates are not available for online purchase.

As far as buying them ahead on consideration is to hold off in case of bad weather and another being if anything should happen and you need to cancel your trip the tickets are non-refundable. I bought mine last year when they first became available, 3 weeks before we were to go on vacation our boiler bit the dust so we had to cancel , I ended up giving our tickets to another Diser rather than just letting them go to waste but it was still a loss of $ so I am planning on being more cautious this time and holding off buying them "just in case" you just never know what will happen.

Plus in my case since the night we want to attend "maybe" is not discounted no real point in buying ahead of time.

The date we want to attend is 10/25.. tickets can be purchased. But, so many things can change from now until then. I know once we are there we can exchange for another date, we would either be refunded if the ticket price is lower or of course pay the difference if the price is more. Decisions, decisions:rotfl:

party: HOORAY for MNSSHP tickets being on sale! party:

Our party night is not a discounted night, but as long as it is not way MORE crowded, I don't mind the slightly more expensive as we only have to purchase 2 adult + 1 child tickets. From what I have read today, the crowd level at most party nights is the same regardless of ticket price. I am hoping this is true...

For those of you interested in the Pirate and Pals Firework cruise on a MNSSHP night, have you called and tried to book, yet? Just wondering...

Ok I called and bought my MNSSHP tickets. DH said we're going rain or shine, so there was no point waiting for us. The CM says they do fireworks and parades in the rain (light rain for parades) so that's done.

exwdwcm - I also called about Pirates and Pals and the CM I talked to said as of right now out of all the Fridays in Oct they only have one Friday (the first one) scheduled for Pirates and Pals that is also on a MNSSHP night. The rest are not, and she said mostly likely won't be because there are conflicts with the music/fireworks and the boat. So I ended up changing my P&P night to the 22nd (which really makes no sense since Saturday is a party night too and they are running the boats every Saturday night), but she said it also could be because it's off season and they won't run them as often. Anyways I booked for the 22nd, which is ok, but doesn't work out as perfect as the 21st. lol

I did end up changing some ADR's.

10/28 is now

Le Cellier at 11:30
Rose and Crown at 7:55

Please pull off Le Cellier at 6. I cancled that ADR.
Decided to do early early lunch and late dinner and not have to use 2 credits.

We are also going to MNSSHP on 10/25 But I didnt buy tickets yet. Gotta save some cash up and then I will purchase those.

Thanks for adding and changing :)

Maybe we'll pass each other at LeCellier? You'll probably be leaving right around the time we're arriving (1:05pm).:wave2:

We are also staying at OKW the same dates as you and your DH. In fact, we also have an ongoing search for BWV or BCV:) I have been reading as much info as I can on OKW.. we have a 2 bedroom villa and it seems like October is so far away.:rotfl:

Well called today to see about changing our Pirates and Pals cruise night. We are booked currently and paid in full for monday, 10/17. I wanted friday 10/21. so i called and got what seemed to be like a pretty good CM. She said it was showing unavailable, that they were not having cruises that night. I mentioned how I thought now that MNSSHP dates are out, maybe it would have opened up that night. But she said no. She did actually take the time to look at the MNSSHP schedule and compare what nights the cruises were on vs. MNSSHP. She said she thought it was odd too that they weren't having them on that night or some of the other Fridays. She said it can't hurt to check back, but as of now, it just appeared they weren't doing them that night (or some other nights she thought they would normally offer them). At least this CM was trying to find out answers for me. :thumbsup2 so for now, sticking with my 10/17 i guess. I will keep calling back a few more times.

Interesting. I too am trying to book for a MNSSHP night (my son's 4th birthday) and this has been my experience...

Originally, I was told that there was not a cruise scheduled for this date. The cast member even commented that this was very unusual because there is always a cruise on Mondays. She offered to book me on a cruise for 10/8 or 10/9. When I declined, she told me sometimes schedules to change and to call back later.

The second AND third time (Tues and Wed night) I called I was told that the CM(s) could see the date in the computer with a 8:45 sail time, but could not book it. They both told me that this could be because Disney most likely is waiting to open it once the MNSSHP dates are released and Hallowishes times are scheduled.

Last night (Thurs night) I called and was told that there was absolutely no way that there would be sailing on 10/10... that there were never cruises on MNSSHP nights. :confused3This CM said that the October schedule was released and there would be no changes.

Because I am a glutton for punishment :rolleyes1 , I called WDW customer service onback the next day (Fri morning). My purpose in calling was to find out if historically PPFC sailed on "special party" nights or not. No one could answer my question.

I did post on the boards to see if anyone had gone on a cruise during MNSSHP and to my relief there was a sailing during the party last year :woohoo:

I guess we will see soon. Glad to know I am not in this alone.

If you can't tell, I am not very patient!

Oh, and thanks to both of you for your responses! If I hear anything, I'll let you guys know!

I called today to see if tickets had gone on sale and was told to call back in 3-4 weeks. I mentioned that last year it seemed like tickets had gone on sale around May 1st. The CM just said, "Hmmmmm, well, call back in a few weeks."

As stated earlier in the post, I am not very patient! :rotfl::lmao::rotfl:
So frustrating isn't it? lol- i agree, sometimes the CMs don't have accurate info. It is sort of a crapshoot on who you get and if they have good info or not and keep in mind many are located all over the country remotely, not like they are in Orlando getting up to date on site info. :confused3:rotfl: lol at calling back in 3-4 weeks. how about calling everyday? :lmao:

We spend the extra time at the Earport!

Now ain't THAT the truth!

WE have a 6:30 am flight on the way there too....none of us sleep much that night before we leave anyway...
Our flight back home is not until 7:56pm - so we basically get to spend our whole last day in the Parks. :yay:
Sure, we won't get home until after midnight, and we'll be EXHAUSTED - but at least we come back on a Saturday, with a whole day Sunday to recuperate!:crazy2:

My vote is to keep Kona!! LOVE those Macadamia Nut Pancakes and French Press Kona coffee!!!:lovestruc
that is what we are doing as well, taking an 8:01pm flight back home, we arrive like at 10pm though- and also on a saturday. i like having sunday to recover before DH and i both head back to stressful weeks at work! I am a little nervous about taking such a late flight though (potential for more delays etc.) and worry about filling our day and not having a place for DS to nap if he tires out. I guess the stroller is always an option or a nice bench! :confused3:rotfl:

thanks for the update Rorey- sorry you couldnl't get it either. But at least we were both told no this time and similar answers somewhat, so if i hear any different, i'll post here and let you know. I am booked for 10/17 (10/22 is our last day, flying out that night, so it wasn't an option). i figure I will call back a few more times and check.

That could be... There are 3 of us... my DH is a red head.. he is hard to miss!

Where in WI are you? I am on the border of WI and IL.

Add us for 10/23 to 10/30 at POP!! WooHoo!! This time we are driving down. We will arrive to attend MNSSHP on the 23rd!! I just bought those tickets! Not sure what we will go as.... thank goodness we have time to figure that out. The trouble is, this one we are keeping a surprise so I'll have to figure out what we will be without the input of DD4!!
Right now the plan is MK for her 4th b'day. Eating at Tony's for lunch on our birthday is becoming a tradition. We have ADRs for 12:50. Then AK on the 25th, MK on the 26th, HS on the 27th, Epcot 28th with Akershus at 9:20, MK on the 29th and AK on the 30th. Lot's of MK days which may change. But for now this is it!

I called today and pretty much got the same answer AND a really nice CM. For now, I think am going to go ahead and book for 10/8, instead of DS actual birthday, 10/10. I will try make 2 different plans... just in case something opens up for 10/10. Now I have to decide what to do on DS's birthday... :confused3

I had no idea that they were placed remotely all over the country. Thanks for pointing that out... that is very interesting! I am currently (for 1 more week :woohoo:) a pharmacist for a very large company. I can completely relate to the lack communication from company to employees. People probably think I am crazy sometimes because the company will roll out some sort of new program and not tell us a thing about it. :rotfl2:

Yep, I got the same answers, too. Thanks to both of you for sharing your info with me! Although I wish the cruises we wanted were available, I am glad to see that we are all getting the same information!

We are traveling 10/7-10/15 for our DS's 4th birthday. We haven't decided if we are going to tell him or surprise him when we get there! We always have tons of MK days, too. DS is 3 and DD 19 months so it is by far their favorite park!

When we went to HS or epcot last yr DD said, "I want to go to Dizzyworld"! I said, we are in disneyworld. She said "No, where's the castle?" She seems completely content to be in Magic Kingdom. We did realize we love AK too! Probably one day at Epcot for Akershus is enough for us! She may want to be at HS a little more since Phineas and Ferb are there now!
She told me this am she wants to be Tinkerbell this next year. We probably won't manage to keep the surprise but I am sure going to try! Telling her this early will wear us out! It did last year!
Now here's to hoping FD extends at least a month;)

no problem. at least we are all getting consistent answers. :confused3:goodvibes I might keep trying back, i've got a plan for either way though at least and it won't affect our ADRs or anything like that.

yep, from what I have read, you could be talking to a CM from anywhere in the country really. And as large as Disney is (largest single site employer I believe), you can imagine how hard it is to communicate. Heck, we struggle here at work, so I know they do too. It is frustrating nonetheless!
