Do you know if the Wishes Dessert party is also available at the 180 day mark? Thanks..:cutie:

No - I don't think so.
The schedule for the Dessert Party is being released about one month at a time. For instance, right now, you can only book through July 31.
I'm still on the fence about this one.....we have not done it yet so I'm really tempted!::yes::

I've also been considering your Illuminations cruise.....but with 5 people in our family, it would be a bit of a splurge!:scratchin

Ok.. so that means I have to wait until Sept. to try and book the dessert party. I totally understand the Illuminations cruise would be a splurge. Being that I have never done the cruise, I thought it would be part of our bday celebration. I am on the fence whether or not to book it. I want to first know for a fact that we can split the cost with other people.

I would love to do the Illuminations Cruise but there are only four of us. Aren't they hundreds of dollars? Do you have to use a ticket to enter Epcot that day or is it separate?

I would also like to do the dessert party but both of our Magic Kingdom days are on MNSSHP days. I'm assuming they wouldn't do those during the parties. Plus, I don't think I would want to waste my party time like that if they did.

Below is more info. This is why I would like to divide the cruise with other people. For example, you have 4 in your family and we have 3 in our group. This would be a total of 7 people dividing the total cost. Of course, if there are 8 people the total is a bit less. No need to enter Epcot and use a park day.
MAGIC KINGDOM WISHES CRUISE (PREMIUM)
25' Tracker Pontoon

Price: $346.13, tax included for up to 10 guests. Price includes pontoon boat, driver, water, soda, bagged snacks and and audio feed of the fireworks music -Guests may order Private Dining to be delivered to the cruise. The sound from the fireworks show is provided on the boat

I feel so left out, seems everyone is doing their ADRs on 4/25 and I do mine on 4/22, guess I will have to make my own coffee

Do you just call the Dining # and ask what dates they are booking up to for the Dessert Party? I am so confused on that one since the said you could start booking it online now but I don't know how unless you check everyday to see if your dates have opened up or not and that seems like such a pain :headache:

There is a thread here on the DIS where people post wanting to share the Illuminations Cruise, before I had to cancel our trip last November, I had hooked up to share one, it would have run us about $40 pp $35 for the cruise and $5 tip for the captain of the boat...Last year to book the boat yourself it was $350 and held 10 persons

You pick up the Cruise over at the Beach Club so no you can take a bus or cab there, it also drops you off at BC when the cruise is over

Last year I know they offered the Dessert Party on MVMCP nights not sure if they offer it on MNSSHP or not.

I would love to do the cruise this trip too but have not decided for sure or mentioned it to DH yet.

I do mine on the 26th, so don't feel bad!:goodvibes Of course, I drink tea so I wouldn't be much good for the sharing of the coffee anyway. :rolleyes1

I would have much less of a problem just paying half of that. Maybe I should look that thread up. I'm a little nervous about posting and hooking up with people I've never even talked to though. What if you reserve it and the other people don't show up?:scared1:

Mine are on 4/18. I'm sure somebody else is booking on 4/22. :)

Sweet! I'm looking at my itinerary and the day that would work best is 10/19 because it's our DHS day and they close at 7PM. Other than that 10/17 might work since it is our Epcot day but I would have to think about what time to make our dinner ADR if we were to do that. At this point I didn't really plan on staying for Illuminations because of the crazy lady behind us on one of our previous trips but to be out on a boat away from the craziness with the music being piped in would be like a dream.

IM so excited!! I get to make mine tomorrow!!! Granted - Im only making 2.....but they are important ones!!! CRT for DD's bday and Tusker house for fun!!!!!!! Woooo Hoooooo!!!!!

Ok.. so that means I have to wait until Sept. to try and book the dessert party.

I dont think you'll have to wait until Sept. They release one month at a time, but the monthly schedule is out about 3 monthes in advance (more like Park Hours than ADR booking). I would check sometime in July for the October schedule.

But at least you'll be done with your adrs a couple of days before us:goodvibes Of course, we will be waiting for the details:cutie:

That gives me hope. I did post there sometime ago but guess no one was planning that far ahead. I guess I'll bump my post today. Worse case scenario is that I would have to cancel if I don't find others to share with. When you were going to do the cruise, what was the set-up? Were you paying the person that reserved before the actual cruise? I am afraid to set it up and the others not show up and we are stuck paying for the cruise for only 3 of us.:headache:

Sorry, I misread your post. It's been a long day :upsidedow

I was to pay the person who booked the cruise cash the night of the cruise. I wonder if you book the cruise yourself at the 180 day out if they charge your cc right then or not till later............hmmm I know I would have to cancel if I couldn't find others to share since this trip it is only 2 of us DH & myself

Just want to jump in and give my experience on the fireworks cruise talk! We booked one for out last trip in July. It worked out perfectly because our cruise was July 3 so we were able to see the patriotic MK fireworks without having to go anywhere NEAR the park! I had to idea to do it just about 180 days out and booked it pretty much immediately...for just the 2 of us! :scared1: Too much money to spend so.....I contacted a DIS friend who I had met during a previous trip who I knew was going at the same time and she quickly agreed to split it! :cool1: That made a total of 6 people with room for 4 more. I was a little nervous about sharing with random people and actually found a family of 3 on our "Official July" thread. We were still one person short but we saved a lot of money and it was really fun to hang out with my DIS friends!

I would definitely recommend it!

Nikki when you booked the cruise did you have to prepay?

I might interested in the 19th with ya. There will be 3 of us and to keep ds from all the craziness of the crowds would be well worth it. All depends on what my doctor says in a few weeks. Dealing with health issues and I am not working at the moment, if the doctor doesn't release me to work, then my trip will either be canceled or changed. :(

Thanks so much! :flower3: We are staying on property so I'll be trying to get ours adrs for the week.:) Guess I'll be waking up at 4:30 am to get my morning coffee in my body and attempt to wake up :)
i am in TX too- where are you? I'll be up at 4:30am too, unfortunately, my day is next sunday, so much for sleeping in!
Hey you know what they say in Texas.. "Everything's bigger in Texas":rotfl: The bigger the party the better.. I'll make the espresso coffees you all bring the croissants!:cutie: I will try online first, and whatever I have an issue with I'll phone it in. Best of luck to all of us with our ADRs.:flower3:

I am still trying to find a couple of people to share an Illuminations cruise with. Anyone traveling 10/25-10/29 that is interested please let me know. I believe it would be $40 per person with tip included.
hey, a virtual party is fun......i remember last year when trying to book my ADRs, i was up early to try and get Le Cellier for the Candlelight processional package, which sells out fast. i was dialing right away, got through once before it opened, got the message to call back, then got a busy signal for the next 90 minutes on a landline and cell. fortunately, i was here on the DIS, posting on a thread we had going for December folks---everyone was posting what they got and if they were on hold or getting busy signals too- at least i wasnt' alone. an online friend, who just happened to be local (Fort worth) saw me post i was not getting through and she offfered to book for me instead, saying she was on hold now. we chatted on FB, gave her my info and she booked it for me, even using her own CC to hold it for us. talk about nice- that is why I LOVE the DIS......a virtual ADR booking party saved me and got me the ressie i needed!
