Yay - we're officially going October 12-21 and staying at the Poly. DH and me only - no kids!

Can you add us to the list?

Thanks - Theresa

Hi there- my best friend and I will be staying at BWI from 10/26-10/30 to celebrate birthdays together-minus the kiddies!!!

I had a question though and sorry if this has been discussed already as I havent had a chance to really read through the thread- in regards to the hours that were just posted on the TA website I do not see any PM EMH's? Do you think the schedule will still change and some will be added. We are not doing the MNSSHP so I was planning on doing MK on the saturday (29th) and hoping for PM EMH's. ( actually hoping for any PM EMH's so that we can do some park hopping) What do you think the lieklyhood will be? thanks!

If you scroll down to the very end of each day on the calendar you will find the EMH's listed.
Disney did away with pm EMH at AK as of this month(March) and have changed around some of the rest, Saturday which normally was pm EMH
at MK is no more :sad2:
DHS now has EMH on the Fantasmic! nights to further add to the crowd levels on those days :scared1:

OK, so I had originally thought of doing MNSSHP on the Thursday we are there, but that will be 10/27 and it seems like the week leading up to Halloween is the busiest time. I wanted to do Thursday rather than Tuesday because I think once I get DD to the party, she'll want to do it every night! But do you think I'd be better off as far as crowds go booking the Tuesday party over the Thursday party? :confused3 Or doesn't it really matter at that point in October?

There seems to be quite a few of us going the last week of October. We will be there Oct.22-29, group of 3 girlfriends as of today. Is anyone thinking of maybe doing an Illuminations cruise. I believe it is for up to 8 people. I am interested in sharing one if possible.:cutie:
Hopefully we can find others to share with:)

I might be- ( there would be 2 of us in my party) once I can figure out which evening or evenings we plan on being at EPCOT. I have never done an illuminations cruise but have always wanted to. Can you tell me more details such as what time you would have to arrive for the boat ride and also what the cost would be if we were able to get the 8 people needed? thanks!

Thanks for the info and oh man that stinks! I was so looking forward to 2 am in the MK ( I know that sounds crazy!) since it would just be my best friend and I, we would have the stamina! Oh well at least I know now and can firm up my park plans and ADR's and not hold out waiting for PM EMH's.

I found this info at http://www.wdwinfo.com/recreation/fireworks.htm
Basically we would divide the cost by 10 people including tip. These have to be booked 180 days in advance.. reason why I am asking now. I have never done a fireworks cruise but assume we would have to meet at least 30 mins before departure. Hopefully we can find others to join us and we can all agree on a date.:)
There is a disboards thread with lots more info pertaining to this.http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2069267&highlight=wishes+or+illuminations+cruise+october

ILLUMINATIONS CRUISE (BASIC)

Price: $325 plus tax for up to 10 guests. Price includes pontoon boat, driver, water, soda and bagged snacks. Guests may order Private Dining to be delivered to the cruise.

Thanks for the suggestions :) I have arranged for Oct. 6 to be the night we attend the MNSSHP. I do have the 7th planned so that we can use that date as a back up plan. Originally we had planned to try to do that Fantasmic! dining package on the 6th, but moved it to the 2nd using the 9th as a back up date to see it.

Has anybody here attended the F&W at Epcot before? I have never been, and would like to take part this time, but not really sure I know how it works. We're not wine drinkers at all, but do like to try different food. Anybody have any information to share?

Woo Hoo! Finally booked our air fare last night! :cool1: We are going October 23rd to the 30th and staying at POFQ with the awesome pin I got in the mail. So excited because now it means we are really going! Just waiting for the end of April so I can book our few ADR's we want.

WooHoo!:woohoo: - Awesome feeling, hey?

I'll be there the last week of October too!

PM EMH are as follows:
SUN - DHS
MON - MK
TUES - EPCOT

One day DH and I would like to do this too - Disney without kids!
But I can't help but feel so guilty :guilty:

Last year, Saturday Oct 23rd, the MK was open until 12am with PM EMH until 3am. I was so disappointed to see this year's schedule, with every Sat closing at 10pm and no EMH! :sad2:

We love, love, love the F&W at EPCOT!
There are tons of kiosks set-up around the World Showcase selling small, sample-size servings of various ethnic entrees, desserts, beer and wine.
If you have the Dining Plan, some of the items can even be purchased with Snack credits.

After studying and rethinking and rearranging our 4 short days, I just wasn't happy with anything based on those 4 days... but I noticed if I moved the trip up a day... things fell into place much nicer!!! So I am ready to state that our official dates are going to be 10/23-10/27, attending MNSSHP on the 25th. We will be staying at POP. Can we get on the list? Now to change my ticker (AGAIN) and update my PTR... (link in sig :cool1:)

I was counting on the pm EMH on Saturday night for MK myself, since I did not want to do Epcot on a Saturday evening during the F&W Festival.
I decided to go ahead with my MK evening plans on Saturday since I do want to see Wishes which is limited due to MNSSHP during my visit

DF and I will be there from October 21-27, staying at the Boardwalk. We get MARRIED at SBP on October 24, and leave for our first Disney cruise on the 27th!!! I would love to be added to the list! :cool1:

LMC, I'm cracking up because I toll will be there the same week and thought that if I did MNSSHP on Tues. DD would think we could do it every day (she's only 3 so she won't get it). I ended up deciding that Tues. may be the better day crowd wise, I'm afraid with it being halloween weekend Thurs. might be too crowded. I'm hoping there is enough other exciting stuff to keep her occupied. :)

What's funny is by moving my days I made sure I won't be able to get in on another MNSSHP... which I know I would end up doing because I had so much fun at the last one. I bet my DS wouldn't think twice about it, butI wouldn't be able to keep myself from doing it. Of course... I could add a night AND do another party... :rotfl:

Well DH is set for golfing. I gave him today for his bday a 200.00 Disney Gift card for golfing. Another thing crossed of the list :cool1:

Next airfair in the next week or two.

Yay!! Congratulations! I am so jealous....I wish I got married in WDW. We did the WDW/DCL honeymoon too!

Exactly! I think I might change my night. I also think that by Thursday she'll be wiped (she'll also be 3 then) and may not enjoy it as much with the late night and the crowds. We were planning a full day at Epcot on Tuesday but we'll go back for nap anyway, so we'll just split the day and do Epcot at night on Thursday instead. I think that's what the hubs prefers anyway! :)

Thanks!

Yep, I am doing exactly the same thing- MK on Saturday and hoping to do the Wishes Dessert Party if they continue with it because Wishes is a must!

I am still truly bummed though about no PM EMH's but what can you do.

I am hopeing to be able to get a reservation for the Wishes Dessert Party too, but we will be having dinner at 'Ohana so if I can't get a ressie for the WDP will watch Wishes from the Poly Beach(DH preference since he hates the crowds at MK for the fireworks)
