Touring plans just changed the crowd predictions for the last couple days I'm there! One day is now at am 8 overall resort wide

Same with mine, but the park I am going to only went up to a 4.9 which is more then doable. I have my touring plans and my notecards so I feel like the changes really will not impact me that much.

I would call DME directly and let them know that you haven't received them.... they may send them directly to you. They did that for me!

These are the overall numbers - each park also has a number. If you are looking for a specific park on a specific day, I can look at those for you, too. It will have to be later tonight though because I have to go to a meeting in a few minutes and then my DS has karate tonight!

We had back to back open houses last night and tonight since one is in middle school and the other is in elementary school. I asked teachers about missing school and getting work ahead of time for vacation and everyone was cool about it. Yay!

IN THE 20's!!!

I checked touring plans and while the crowd levels did go up for my specific park days they aren't terrible. I'm surprised that they went up at all. Do you think it's because of FD? I chose Oct. because everyone said Sept./ Oct. was a great time to go crowd wise, but weather wise Oct. was better. I am expecting the restaurants to be crowded as FD is offerd while I am there but I have all my ressies so I'm good. Just was hoping for lighter ride wait times and stuff

I would also call and speak with your attendance office and confirm their absence policy. Two years ago our son missed 3 days of school for a quick trip to disney to celebrate his bday. My husband was attending a conference and he invited us to go with him. I spoke with his homeroom teacher (5th grade)and she was ok with his trip. But, when it got closer to the trip and flights, hotel, and car reservation was paid for she told me there would be an issue with his unexcused absences. I spoke with the attendance clerk and was informed I first had to get his absences approved by the principal and any tests he missed would be a ZERO. Make sure to do your due diligence with all appropiate departments.

He has been begging to go with me on my October trip for MNSSHP but our school district is very strict on attendance. He has a total of 10 abscences in a school year that are allowed. Of course if he is sick and has a doctor's excuse that is another story.

I read so many posts of parents taking their children on vacation during the school year and wish we could do the same.
