I just saw the update. 10/22 is my arrival day.. We get to MCO at 10:50 am and I plan to go check in at OKW resort and from there to Epcot for our lunch ADR at Via Napoli at 3:30pm. Then park hop to MK to walk around and hopefully see the parade. Leave before Wishes and go buy groceries. I'll stay if I buy groceries before arriving at resort.

I have decided NOT to print out any of my plans until closer to our departure date just in case I need to make anymore adjustments.

We are arriving on 10/22 as well and expect to check into OKW early afternoon. Wow, we have decided to just "wing" it and have a late lunch perhaps at DTD but that "9" scares me!!! Thought we might go to one of the parks that evening but now maybe not. Have a great time, hope we all have good weather when we are there and that it will not be so hot as it has been.

They've changed Saturday October 22 to a 9 on Touring Plans!

Glad all I have planned for that day is KTTK and dinner at Jiko. We leave the following day.

Wow now i'm nervous. My touring Plan subscription just ran out but i had everything planned based on the old numbers. Does anyone mind just letting me know what Sept 30, Oct 1st and Oct 2nd are?

All right, I have been working on my LGMH.

I wanted to make buttons, so I didn't use the Home Depot paint samples. I think the green is a little off. What do you think?

We are at 23 days - 3 weeks from Sat. we'll be at the World!

Everyone at work is sick of hearing about it, so I am trying to keep it low key, but I am actually about to burst!

The crowd numbers going up sucks, but we were there at Easter last year and every day was a 10. I figure anything less will be better.

Does anyone use their Planet Hollywood coupons? Between DM and our package we'll have $30 to spend there, but I am not sure which time we visit DTD that we will want to eat there - so I have three different ressies for PH! It's probably not that good because I don't see anyone getting excited about PH.

I just found this thread! Our family is going to WDW for the first time Oct 10-25 and we are soooooooooo excited!! I took two of our boys in March so I could scope it out and we could get the oldest used to the airplane, security and the lay of the land. I'm not sure what it's going to be like to take 8 kids on the plane though for the first time. Hope we all do OK. So if you see a mom pushing a triplet stroller it might be me!
We plan to do MNSSHP on Oct 18th.

We are staying at BWV for 3 nights, AKV for 8 nights and BLT MK view for 3 nights. I know some moving around but we wanted to experience each thing because I don't know when we will get to this trip again!

Great news to report... DH's Ken costume is FINALLY done! I will post pics later today. I'll throw my costume on and take a pic of myself, too.

In other news, DH's entire family will now be at the World while we are there. We already knew that his parents and brother's family would get there toward the end of our trip, but now his sister's family will be there the entire week we are there. By the way, im4kycats, his sister lives in Franklin, TN. So... all 15 of us will be there at the same time for the last 3 days of our stay. We are not making specific plans to tour together, but I'm sure we'll end up spending a couple of hours todgether at MK. They know how seriously DH and I take our Disney vacations, so they will be the ones tagging along with us and definitely NOT the other way around. No highjacking of our trip-- ain't gonna happen!

On the countdown front, we leave 3 weeks from today!!! However... we will be going back home to Indiana two weeks from today for my SIL's baby shower, and I want to have EVERYTHING ready to pack before we leave for that trip. DH gets Columbus Day off, so we plan to do most of our packing that Monday. I can't believe how fast time is flying by! I'm kind of nervous about the shower. I told my mom that I had bought the stroller and the carseat that my li'l bro registered for, and she said that my stepdad's mom wanted to get them that. Apparently, that is what she ALWAYS gets the grandkid's who are having a baby. By "always", she means ONCE. She only has one great-grandchild. I have a feeling I will be getting the evil eye throughout the gift opening part of the shower (if not the ENTIRE shower). Oh well... no one told me I couldn't buy it and he's my brother so it is what it is.

It is pouring down rain here. I guess I'll work on packing lists and transferring episodes of WIPEOUT! onto DVD. We are not allowed to delete them off of the DVR until they are put on a DVD. DS is the show's #1 fan. Here is a pic of him at DHS last summer doing a wipeout...

Yep... that's my baby. He's so silly!

Good luck to your daughter tonight! How exciting!

I am ready to go right now. My MIL just got out of the hosptial after 10 days and it was a rough one. She had an anaphylatic reaction to dye and coded during the procedure. Ended up in ICU before they took her BACK to the cath lab and did ANOTHER cath with dye. Thank goodness they were able to avoid another reaction and 1 stent later she is on her way to recovery. It has been very stressful for our family and none of us have had much sleep. I told my DH that I need to go to WDW to relax! I just need the next 3 weeks to go quickly without any drama.

Here's to hoping the drama settles down for you!

My TA from AAA e-mails me today telling me my Mickey Mail was mailed out from her to me yesterday, so I should get it soon!!! We're at day 27 today!

I also sent in my request for a cake yesterday. Just waiting to hear back from the cake designer. Since the trip is to celebrate DH and I's anniversary, I am seeing if they can recreate the top tier of our wedding cake. When we got married (which was in Michigan) the next day we were driving to Virginia, so we attempted to bring the cake home, but it didn't make it, so we never got that tradition. DH will be so surprised if they can pull this off.

Our arrival day is the 22nd too. We are also thinking about "changing our plans" for that day.....Instead of running right into the MK (which now has a crowd level of 9.3!), we may swim, grab lunch, and maybe even grab a quick nap before heading into the Park for the evening.
I REALLY am curious of what the reason is for such high crowds on that day! SO not typical of October!!!
