SO EXCITED!!!! I'm newly engaged and today DF came across some great airfare! We just booked All Star Movies and I'm debating whether or not to get tickets to MNSSHP. DS4 will be going too, but I think we're going to surprise him since he won't really miss out on the planning part.

Congratulations on the engagement and on the trip. Have a fabulous time and enjoy yourself!:dance3:

First time ever for me and DDs21,10,10, 3rd for DW (first in 20 years). The twins will actually be celebrating their 11th birthday while we are down there. Booked Cinderella dinner for the night of their birthday. Was pure coincidence, as DD21 has her final Spring Break that week, so it just worked out that way. Absolutely stoked and cannot wait!
We will be at the Poly 7-11.. I'm going with my sister and my neice (2) DS13, DS 7 & DD5 Hope to see you around sometime!
Hey all! I'm new to the forums, but really excited to have found this great place!

This will be my little family's (me, the wife, and baby boy) first "official" family vacation, and my wife's first ever trip to WDW. It's only going to be a quick 4 day adventure, but 4 days is better than none right? My son will actually be turning 2 years old on our second day of the trip, so I'm hoping that we can get a little extra "magic" for him. I have a birthday dinner reservation at 50's Prime Time, as it is close to our resort (All Star Sports)...and can't get anything at Chef Mickeys. I'm planning on taking a lot of pictures and video, as Grandma is very sad she can't go.

Any helpful tips from you Disney vets is more than appreciated!
Make sure you get a birthday button even if you have to pin it on a diaper bag. We are only going for 5 days.. Anytime in DW is a vacation.. Have a great trip!

Congratulations! I'll be just missing you. We get in the day you leave!

We came found some great airfare too. We purchased our plane tickets but have no idea where we will stay. I'm going to book a couple of character meals soon.
We have taken our kids to DL twice (early June and Christmas), but they have never been to WDW. I've been to WDW in spring and summer. We're very excited to try October! It's been 8 1/2 years since I've been to WDW! Far too long!!!

dgbg100106 and jenny105 - thanks for the congrats! :goodvibes

3Leafs - I think we will be going to MNSSHP on the 3rd. I hope I can convince DS to pick a Disney costume this year.

Well our plans have changed. My eldest son is going away to school so now we have to bring the "little" one 14yo son. So along with our date, our resort changed from OKW to SSR. I'm on the waiting list for OKW. For some unknown reason, to me, I am not really very interested in staying at SSR. I'm sure after stay there I won't understand why I didn't want to.

Surprise trip for my DD at her longed for resort (I'm sure the waterslide has nothing to do with it :rotfl:) Sooooo excited!

We were at the world about a month ago and we became DVC Members while we were there which is allowing us to go back this fall for our first MNSSHP, Food & Wine and me and DH will also be running our first 5K. This will be our first DVC stay as well! :cool1:

Reserved Oct 2-11 .... any suggestions/recommendations?

We've already reserved a cart, seats @ Hoop and a breakfast at the castle.

Would like some advice on purchasing plane tix....very expensive at present. :(

Thanks in advance to all who respond

We are celebrating my daughter's 13th birthday with a quick weekend trip..debating on purchasing tickets for MNNSHP for the 8th..gonna try to cram as much as possible into such a short window of time.

We'll be taking my son down for his 3rd trip Oct 26-Nov 3rd! He's 4 and a HUGE Toy Story Fan, so we'll be at All Star Movies AGAIN hopefully in a Toy Story room! :) We'll be doing MNSSHP on Oct 31st! :)

Make sure you get your MNSSHP for the 31st asap. They sell out. The closer to Halloween the better chance for a sell out.

Changed my resort! Had a TA rate at SSR but switched to Pop to take advantage of extended free dining! :woohoo:
