I've already posted here but wanted to share my newest good news. I just booked MNSSHP for October 31. We'll be trick or treating with Mickey on Halloween and we can't wait. Our trip is planned for October 25 - November 1. Hope to see you there!

You can add us to the mix. We will be going Oct 11-17 and staying at BWV. This will be our 6th trip to the world. I am planning on doing MNSSHP...probably on the 13th or 15th.

Hi! I am new to this site. We just booked last night for October '09, October 24-30. I haven't been to Disney for 20 years, dh went in the early '90's. Ds, 7, has never gone. Just had to share!! Oh, edited to add that we're staying at Orleans Riverside as well!

I made a change, I had to downgrade our resort from POR to POP but I added another day! It was a choice between another day and MNSSHP or staying at POR...I chose POP! LOL! Our MNSSHP date is Oct 6th!

Headed down for a girls only trip October 14th - 18th!! Can't wait. The hubby is burned out on Disney so my girlfriend and I are going!! yay! Probably going to MNSSHP on the 15th. Never been to the party before so I am looking forward to it!

Just called for MNSSHP tix for Halloween 10/31! Our 8th year in a row on Halloween night. Woo hoo!

I am really getting excited. I called Friday for MNSSHP tickets and at 12 PM the wait was 30 minutes. I had to add a day to our reservation anyhow so I called the reservations line and the CM sold me the tickets then, that was pretty sweet.

We will be staying at the Polynesian and attending MNSSHP on October 6th.

I ordered my MNSSHP tickets for our family of 5 for Halloween night! We have been to MNSSHP before but never on Halloween!!! We are so excited!!!

Staying at the Contemporary 10/28-11/2. We are also celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary.

My family and I are going to WDW Oct. 3-Oct.10 staying at POP. I absolutely cannot wait, we have talked about it for years but my daughter had some health issues then my husband did. But thank the Lord above everyone is doing fine and we booked our trip.
This will be our first trip and we are surprising the kids DS (11) and DD (7). It is actually a surprise birthday present, we will be down there for their birthdays and our anniversary (13 years). I am very new to disboards but I am already addicted!! I am so excited and I'm already having a hard time keeping the secret, it will really be hard when we get close to going.

I just wanted to say "Hi" and welcome to the DISboards. Your right, the DIS can be very addicting! I'm glad to hear that the health problems are in the past - you have a lot to celebrate on your first trip! We are also planning our first trip to Disney, staying at POP the exact dates as you ..... looks like we have a lot in common. Have fun planning your first trip - you will find so much info here on the DIS. Are you going to MNSSHP?

Also "Hello" to all the other new October planners! I don't know about all of you but I am still counting down the days until July so I can't start finalizing some of our plans. We're thinking about going to MNSSHP on October 8th. Hopefully we will have our airfare booked this coming week ..... it is hard when you are planning for a group of 11 ...... getting everyone to agree that this is the best price, what time to leave, what airline, etc.... I just want it booked! (Yes, I need to work on my patience! lol)

Having trouble planning too. I am stuck until the hours come out. I think I have my days pretty much planned, MNSSHP date set, but with F! only going on part time!

The TOT 13K is going on while we are there. Anyone know how that effects DS?

We are going Oct 24-Nov 1. We are staying at the Poly GVCL and we are sooooo excited!! We are taking my parents along and have many surprises in stor for them. CL is one of them along with an Illuminations cruise... We are going to the MNSSHP on the 27th.
