*** Official November 2024 thread ***

Just to bump up this thread a bit ….

It’s almost September and all our trips are coming up fast with our turn to make ADR’s!

It’s just fun to read about everybody’s plans - it’s all about the journey and not just the destination ❤️💛🖤

We just added a night to our trip so we will be in Disney Nov.8-10 before boarding the Disney Fantasy. We were booked at Boardwalk for one night, but had to switch due to adding a day to the only thing I could grab in a few days of stalking dvc, which happened to be Copper Creek. Very happy we grabbed that, but will continue to stalk since we are staying at Copper Creek for Marathon weekend.

We are attending the Xmas party and Jollywood nights. So excited!

Don’t think we are looking for any adrs this time.

My countdown will be 60 days tomorrow!! Hopefully will be able to get an ADR for Topolino's and Yak and Yeti.

How do it go for you??!
Day 1 (11/05) - I got Yak and Yeti for 3:45pm was hoping for closer to 5pm so I can take my time at the Food and Wine Festival but the next day I'll be back at Epcot.

Day 2 (11/06) - Space 220 lounge for 12:25pm and Toledo for 6:00pm. There was so much availability for Space 220 Lounge from 11/05 - 11/10. I had my pick of days and times

Day 3 (11/07) - Crystal Palace for 10:20am and Brown Derby for 6:30pm. No issues here. These were the last ADRs I made

Day 4 (11/08) - Topolino's for 11:25am and Steakhouse 71 for 1:35pm. Topolino's was the first ADR I looked for on 11/08 and there were no early morning times only saw slots for after 11am and I switched the party size between 2 and 3. Was hoping for a 9am ADR so I could make my way to Gideon's and then Scat Cat for some beignet's before lunch at Steakhouse 71 and then to MVMCP. I'll keep checking but I'm sure there'll be a 9:00am ADR a couple of days beforehand.

Day 5 (11/09) - Topolino's for 8:40am and 11:55am. If I can't get a 9:00am ADR for 11/08 then I'll sleep in to rest up for MVMCP and hea to Topolino's the next day. I'll probably drop the 8:40am cause the more I think about it I don't think I'll be able to get up if my plan is to close MVMCP.

Day 6 (11/10) - Kona Cafe for 7:30am. I'll probably drop this as my flight leaves at 11:45am. May try a quick stop at Capt. Cooks but will have my luggage with me and don't feel like paying for a Lyft twice (once to get there and another to the airport)

I was really surprised at how many ADRs were available for Space 220 Lounge from +2 days out and Topolino's +3 days out. I checked back on the actual days that non resort guest can book and there were none at 6am for Space 220 Lounge and not as many for Topolino's. Staying on resort really does give an advantage.

This was probably a much longer response than you anticipated 😁 Thanks for asking and reading 😊

This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you for all the details!

If you are a Landry's member, call the restaurant directly to get a better timed reservation. They have many more times available than what the Disney website shows.

I don't have a Landry's membership. I did look it up online and contemplating joining. It's $25 to join and then you receive a $25 Welcome Reward. I'll have to read up more on it but may sign up if I can't get a reservation. One specialty drink will more than cover half the $25 ... I may have to get a couple of specialty drinks they sounds really tasty.

We are not big sit-down restaurant people, and we have a split stay so can't get all the ADRs I want yet, but here's what we have so far:
11/5 Yachtsman Steakhouse 6:10 dinner
11/10 Sanaa 11:30 lunch
11/11 Liberty Tree Tavern 5:15 dinner

Hoping to do Steakhouse 71 on 11/14.
Considering 50s Primetime Cafe.

My family really liked lunch at Steakhouse 71. The portions were a good size and we left full. My kids liked it so much that the couple next to use complimented on how well behaved the kids were .... they were to busy stuffing their faces with lunch and the Signature Chocolate Cake to fuss with each other 😆

Never been to Liberty Tree Tavern, the food is to heavy for me but I wish I could just get the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake.

We liked dinner at 50s Primetime. Fried chicken and pot roast was good. The salmon was a bit overcooked but my son still ate it, he just wished there was Yum Yum sauce. We had a fun cousin/server and that made for a more fun experience.

Thanks for sharing your experiences!
We went to 50s Primetime in 2016 on a trip with my husband's family. My Mother in Law was about to blow the straw paper at one of her grandkids when the server yanked the straw right out of her mouth. The look on her face was hysterical! Flabbergasted!

I placed a big Etsy Disney order last night. 8 tees and a sweatshirt for me, 5 tees for my husband. I'm excited!!
I about had a heart attack when I signed in to Etsy and it dumped my cart. I had spent hours on my order. Luckily I signed out and the cart came back and I just checked out as a guest.

I extended my trip so I'll be at Disney from Nov. 9th to 14th, with a four day park hopper! This is so different from the original plan of the 10th-14th with a 2 day park hopper (basically fly down, a park day, a day off, a park day, and fly home). It only cost a bit more to extend by one day with a deal, so I decided to go for it. I don't have any concrete plans yet, except I got the Up Close with Rhinos tour on the 13th, so I guess I'm going to AK that day! I'm not making any ADRs this time (don't hold me to this...). I don't eat a lot due to bariatric surgery, so will grab food at F&W, I think. I also enjoy eating in the lounges, so if I'm not at F&W, I'll be in a bar somewhere!

Anyhow, after 30+ trips to Disney, I'm stupidly excited for this and am having a hard time focusing on my work; I'm too busy thinking about DISNEY WORLD!!!

My 18yo high school grad and I will be at WDW from 17-23 Nov. We fly out from Oz the day after graduation!

Current plans:
Sun 17: arrive late afternoon, dinner at Disney Springs
Mon 18: AK
Tues 19: MK? With afternoon nap and then the Christmas party that night at MK.
Weds 20: Rest day, maybe a late Ohana breakfast
Thurs 21: Epcot
Fri 22: Hollywood Studios
Sat 23: leave for the next stage of our trip.

Teen is interested in BOG and Ohana for meals. She loves Belle and I have told her Beast will walk by at BOG, and Belle is not guaranteed even for a wave.
