BOG is closed for dinner? When is it coming back? We're planning a lunch, but that affects demand.

We don't know. But there is no availability the entire first week of November. BOG is a popular restaurant but for there to be no availability for an entire week is odd. I'm going to assume it's not released yet but I don't know anything for sure.

I am not sure of all the details, but I think in October BOG dinner is becoming a signature meal with no Beast meet n greet. So maybe ADRs are not out yet for it. Just a guess, I am sure someone else knows more.

It is changing to a prix fix meal that requires 2 TS but the Beast will still meet. Someone on another thread said November may not be out due to MVMCP.

Hey everyone!

This is our second trip to WDW. We went the week after Thanksgiving last year and are extending our trip to include Thanksgiving this year.

We want to do Mickey’s Backyard BBQ on Thanksgiving. I have read of there being 3 showtimes that day, but can’t find what those times have been in the past. Also we are arriving on Thanksgiving so I will have to make that ADR exactly 180 days out. Do you think I will have an issue getting category one seating being I can’t make it more in advance?

I booked ADRs today and couldn't get 'Ohana. Since it's a short stay before the cruise, it's a small window that I can do dinner there. I booked 1900 instead (we've never done dinner here). Also booked a Boma breakfast before we leave for the cruise. I'm debating if I should book one more dinner ADR. We don't have our heart set on anything and we have no set plans right now.

We're heading back to POP from 11/3-11/10. ADR's this morning were eerily easy and it's freaking me out!

I actually switched our days around because of the MK party on 11/5. I initially had us going to Epcot that morning and doing MK on 11/7 in the morning. I flopped those days to take advantage of the low crowds that are expected on 11/5. I've read it's some of the lowest crowds people have ever seen in the MK.

I've read on the boards numerous times that crowds are insanely low when they close the park that early for a cast member event or for any party. We are staying for 9 nights and are doing HEA arrival day (dessert party) and will have two other nights at MK so I'm not worried about not seeing the night time events on 11/5. Plus our original plan to do MK on 11/7 was AM only so it's not a big deal to switch it out. If crowds are low enough I might just stay until the park closes!

I saw a few 4 pm BOG dinner ADRS on 11/10. I'm wondering if they only have ADRs until 5 or so that entire week and need to adjust for the days that don't have MVMCP. I have no idea but it's weird to see only one availability for a party of 2 7 days out.

@ChanduTail believe me I am OBSESSED with your username, too! I've been doing so much research on Tokyo DisneySea/Tokyo Disneyland, I need to get over there! Newsies was my favorite show as well, I was a Junior in high school when I made this account... ah, the memories.

I hope you get to go and have a great time! I live very close to the Tokyo parks now & I go as often as I can. They are just amazing. I still miss WDW like crazy, though.

Regular dinner ADRs for BOG have indeed been released, but they are all booked up. A friend of mine is going 11/3 - 11/16, so she can see into mid-November and the ADRs are there for later in her trip. The latest time available is 5:55 PM.

Party dinner ADRs have not been released.

That's crazy that they are booked out so far out, considering the change to 2 TS credits on the DDP. I'm happy to have gotten our BOG lunch, even if they are two reservations for 1 that are 10 minutes apart.

You have some of our favorite ADRs (TH, Ohana, Bon Voyage, WC) and some that we haven't tried yet but would like to like Trail's End and La Hacienda. I love eating at Tusker House at that time so I can eat breakfast and lunch items. It's one of my favorites. We did Bon Voyage last November and everyone really enjoyed it. Character interaction was great.

Great plans! We loved our stay at BWV and I like how you are planning to take advantage of your location by hitting up F&W. We've never gone during F&W or F&G. We always just miss them. We have gone during the holiday booths but they don't interest me as much.

Joining in just booked our trip for 11/22-11/27!! This will be my granddaughter's first Disney trip!! And my 6 yr old is performing with her dance studio in Disney Springs on the 24th! Super excited to go to our first MVMCP on the 25th Staying off property this time but it's super close and has free breakfast totally doing the happy dance

I guess my questions are...what is the worst park for a CL 10 day? Which parks do you feel the crowds the least? Do you take advantage of EMH in the morning or evening or avoid EMH days? I am so overwhelmed, but excited and happy all at the same time!! TIA

I don't have much experience on a "10" day, but I know it was pretty overwhelming in MK the day we did last year (predicted was a 7, so we didn't expect it). We do EMH mornings but then plan a different park after lunch so we can avoid the crowds. I avoid MK evening EMH mostly, but do use them in other parks. It also depends on what works with our schedule. We stay pretty flexible (even though I plan a lot ahead) so we can change things if needed, so we don't worry about EMH too much. It would be harder if we didn't have hoppers or an AP.

Good info!! Thank you! I am thinking about getting hoppers for this trip, so we can do what you just mentioned. Morning EMH-break-different park. We have never done that so it makes me nervous, but I'm sure it will be fine! We usually open the park and stay until we can't walk anymore.

This is what we do every trip and we love it. Our breaks are always pool time. I think maybe once a trip we will relax and try to nap but it's 99% of the time at the pool.

We tend to do MK on party days and have always been able to get a lot done on those days. I've never done AK on a 10 day but I would think that everyone would rush to Pandora for the first hour or 2 but after that the rest of the park would be crowded. But that's just a guess. I would do MK on a party day and do AK on another day if it were me.
