OFFICIAL NOVEMBER 2017 THREAD

I have fallen down the rabbit hole of what to pack for Disney in November. I have only had to packed for Summer trips in the past. Our weather is like Florida's and can vary greatly over a weeks time. Send help!!!
We have been here at WDW since Wednesday and we've had both cold weather and warm weather. It has been cold enough for long pants and jackets on Wednesday, Thursday and predicted high in the 60's tomorrow while today got up to 82. You're going to have to wait until closer to your trip to know exactly what to bring. We're hoping the weather turns out to be warmer for our November trip than it was for the October trip.

It's been said that Disney controls their own weather LOL But being a Florida resident just a couple hours south of WDW it's true...don't pack fully until the 24-48 hrs out. Even then I'd recommend planning for everything. For example, light layers, a poncho, jeans and shorts. Generally, in Florida we count November and March respectively as our two best weather months! Have fun!!

Of all the stressful pre trip things this is the worst for me :sad2:
Not sure why we’ve never overslept or not heard the alarm.

Neither have I. I think for me it’s because I really want this to be a perfect trip for my daughter. Missing our flight would really ruin that.:rotfl2:

Advice please- If we catch the Feastival of the Loin King for the 10am show, should I be able to arrive for my ADR at Tusker House at 10:45 on time? Hate being late...

I don't know for sure, but they look pretty close in location. Show is 30 minutes long so that will give you 15 minutes to navigate through a crowd exiting. Do you have kids with you? Maybe have one adult go to Tusker to check in, since it's easier for one adult to navigate through a crowd. It's usually a long wait to be seated. They usually do the Donald photo op while waiting. Supposedly there is a 15 minute grace period if you're running late.

Magic Bands will be delivered tomorrow!!! (according to the USPS tracking thing!)

DD is packed more or less grandma came over yesterday and brought all 14 custom outfits and 2 princess dresses one of which she also made. I separated them into Ziploc bags by date and packed them away. the princess dresses are in garment bags. On the 2 days she will wear those part of the day I plan to bring a large tote to gently fold them into once she's out of them so they don't get stolen. the belle dress my mom made and it looks amazing and then she bought her a deluxe elena so worth packing around for peace of mind.

I started my packing got all my shirts packed. I'm a jeans person unless its like 90 degrees out so those will wait til closer to time since I don't own a ton of jeans :)

DH has his shirts picked out but I'll let him handle his packing. Snacks will be bought this week and put up. 24 days until we leave :)

5 days!!! :stitch: I'm so excited and nervous all at the same time! So far the weather looks GREAT for our trip! Slight chance of rain the first morning we're at the parks but otherwise they are saying highs in the low to mid 80s and lows in the mid to high 60s. :mickeyjum
I'm a bit stressed about packing but having similar weather the whole trip should help some. I need to try packing some tonight to test out the cubes b/c if I want more, I need to order them ASAP in order to get them before we leave. I was going to give each kid some cubes but now I'm wondering if doing them by day would be better?

Also really wishing they'd finish putting out info about the taping for the Christmas show b/c that will affect our MK day. :eeyore:

I'm so bummed...they cut back the frozen holiday wish to only one show on our MVMCP day, and it's during our CRT reservation! Disney, Disney, why do you hurt me so...:worried:

Did the schedule already come out? Last year they did 2 but one was before the party officially started.

That's a bummer! Where did you see the times posted? I've been checking obsessively to see what time Frozen Holiday Wish is going to happen, since it affects my ADR too. Thanks!!

When I first set up my touring plans, it had 2 shows. Now it only shows 1, at 6:15 which seems odd since the party doesn't start until 7. Either way, I can't find any info on it from Disney, so maybe it isn't official yet.

Oh man, I hope there's a later show. I have a 6:25 ADR at BOG, so that would be really tight! Thanks for the info!
