OFFICIAL NOVEMBER 2017 THREAD

Anyone else in that rut where they feel like their trip is never going to get here? Time is going so slowly!! Though this may be because I'm mere weeks away from finishing my season at work and I am just SO ready for that to be over as well.
I am just the opposite, I hate the last few weeks before my trips as the time seems to just fly by once I hit the 60 day mark and I know it will come and go in the blink of an eye once I am at WDW

I feel like it is speeding up a little (we are at 52 days!) and after looking at my calendar for the month of October, I have enough to keep me busy so it should go by quickly (hopefully) :)

We have 43 days left to go!:yay: I am all over the place, LOL! Sunday I was so excited at how close it is getting. On Monday panic sets in on how much I still have left to do and how close it's getting! Today I am alternating between the 2.:scared::teeth: I am excited that I think the kids and I have DH convinced that we should do MVMCP on our last night! We drive from Canada so on our last night we like to close MK and were disappointed that we would have to leave by 6:00 because of MVMCP. MY DH especially loves to spend our last night at MK so we are winning him over to the idea of ending or trip with MVMCP!:santa:

I'm in no hurry for the trip. There's so much to do still. We are super busy at home with fall sports, dance and school. I've been trying to get some Christmas shopping done early so that also keeps me busy. I don't want to rush Halloween and Thanksgiving so I'm fine if the next 58 days go slowly.

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a Crystal Palace breakfast for a party of 8 people on Saturday 11/25 that they will not be using? If so, please pm me. Thanks, November friends!

I'm kinda sad because now I have nothing to plan :( it's all done and even though I'm so excited I know this trip will fly by and it's been in the plans for almost 3 years ah!

You can go shopping, make packing lists, and coordinate outfits if that's your thing.

I wind up having that same problem EVERY. TIME.

And THAT'S when the trouble starts. "DS, what do you think of this shirt?" "... it's okay." "LOOK, IT MATCHES MINE!!!" "NOT THIS AGAIN..."
I'm so cruel to him. :rotfl2:

lol My son would not be happy with me but lucky for him he has a sister. I only own one Disney themed shirt so it's more me just coordinating her outfits with the parks/attractions. My son, Gavin, does have a lot of Star Wars shirts. He has a Fab 4 shirt but never wore it. He has a Gaston shirt which is awesome because it's Gaston's body with your head. There's even hair on the chest. So funny but I don't think he'll wear it this trip. He think he's too cool.

This is me exactly. We started our countdown in March, so I feel like it's been forever since we started planning, but then I look at the list of things I still need to get done in the next 44 days and I panic a little. It feels like it's sneaking up on me so quickly now that the countdown is below 60 days!

I've already done that :rotfl2:

All left to do is actually pack lol

my mom sews and has made 8 or 10 I've lost count custom outfits for DD who is 2.5 and a floor length Belle ball gown for her akershus lunch. so DH & I have kinda color coordinated with her outfits.

You are ahead of the game. How about accessories or fun little things like glow sticks/bracelets?

Wow custom outfits are amazing. You are so lucky to have someone that can do that. We must see them when you get a chance! I love that you are all coordinating.

Question about faxing room requests... Do you all fax at work? Or do you have fax machines at home? I had a fax machine/printer years ago, but don't have one now. I didn't even think people still used fax machines in this day and age, with all the email, and online options. Is there some kind of "fax" system online?

I live in Canada and I could get my DH to fax it at work but I just usually run to the library and use the fax machine there.:)

Yes I totally agree once FP are done and it's less then 60 days it seems to fly by! I need to make a good list of what I have left to do and then maybe I can relax more, LOL.

If I can figure out how to share I will :)

So our backup plan if BOG doesn't open up, is to get an ADR at Trattoria on the Boardwalk.

I love Trattoria! I don't think you can go wrong with it, especially if you're staying at the Boardwalk!

Does anyone have any thoughts on early online check- in. We have a room only at the same resort as our package. I know there is a chance we will have to change rooms, but just like everyone else we really are hoping not to. Does check-in online reduce those odds?

I'd call the Disney Reservation Center and make sure they're linked. The ycan also notate that you have a child with special needs and it would be easier not to move due to the set up required.

And THAT'S when the trouble starts. "DS, what do you think of this shirt?" "... it's okay." "LOOK, IT MATCHES MINE!!!" "NOT THIS AGAIN..."
I'm so cruel to him.

Mine have learned not to complain about it. It's going to keep happening, no matter how old they are! LOL! Mom took you on vacation so you wear what she wants is my motto. Plus it makes for cute pictures! Actually, I just love to match! My BFF and I even wear matching outfits on our runcations!

We love to Disneybound a few days of our trip. On the day of our CP breakfast, we will be in Pooh & friends colors: DH Pooh (red shirt yellow or brown shorts) DD eeyore (all grey clothes, pink bow and accessories) DD piglet (all pink and pig ears), me tigger (orange and black). We see a lot of this in DL and it's a fun way to wear normal clothes but with a nod toward your favorite characters.
