Thank you I will keep trying. Thats my youngest DS 5th birthday and I was only able to get lunch on my ADR day. His birthday is the day after we check in so ADR's were harder to get for that day. There were lots available during the middle and end of our trip. FP+ day is coming up Sunday and I am so unprepared this time! I usually have a plan at least a month in advance, LOL. My youngest just started Kindergarten and it has been an adjustment getting 3 out the door for the bus instead of 2. How is everyone finding FP+ availability this year?

We did ours at 7am as soon as we were able. We got everything we wanted.

REALLY struggling with my FP plan for Epcot and HS. Soarin and TSMM are our favorite rides. We have plans to hit Epcot as much as possible and we will be in HS for 2 half days.

Anyone care to share their FP plans?

We did ours at 7am as soon as we were able. We got everything we wanted.

Oh good glad you got everything you wanted. I usually put the harder fast passes at the end of trip so I hope it goes smoothly. We had an easy time with ADR's (except TH breakfast) so hoping FP+ goes as well.

REALLY struggling with my FP plan for Epcot and HS. Soarin and TSMM are our favorite rides. We have plans to hit Epcot as much as possible and we will be in HS for 2 half days.

We had no problem getting a 4th fp for TSMM in the evening. In fact, the last two trips we were able to get fp's for TSMM. I think they were for around 8pm. I was pleased and surprised, too. to find fp's for this ride. So we'll do Epcot in the morning with fp's and then go to DHS at night for the special Christmas things and for TSMM.

You have a great point; it's definitely not something that can be controlled. I hesitated to even post about it (first world problems), but I've had other friends traveling at the same time mention it to me, and I figured this was a safe space to ask. I was curious what others thought. My assumption is that most people going now are wanting to visit Food and Wine Festival, which ends at the beginning of our travel week. I would assume they would reschedule for another time within that window, but then there's the question of hotel availability for the rest of that time. I could be wrong.

I saw a person or two say they're moving to our week, but I do know that hotel choices are slim. But we are catching the last Halloween party and F&W so I can see the appeal if they found something then since they can hit both of those special events they're missing this/next week. I'm happy for them if they get to do Disney no matter when it is though. I'll just adjust my expectations. (Although with the hotel situation I wasn't expecting it to be slow! )

Hopefully this isn't considered Off Topic, but since we are talking about Tusker House... does anyone know of any Quick Service that has ham? Like the ham served at TH breakfast buffet (not cold cuts).

We had a TH ADR for breakfast one Thursday morning, but decided to cancel it. We enjoy the buffet breakfast, but we feel it's just too time consuming, and we aren't crazy about "Character" meals. We realized we only really go for the ham. We didn't think the time and money (for 4 people) was really worth it. So I'm wondering if we can get comparable ham anywhere else. ???

Does Boma have the ham? It's been a while since we've eaten there, but I feel like they had ham when we were there like the carving station at TH.

Can someone please remind me what time we can start making FP selections? I saw someone say they did theirs at 7am, but I don't know what time zone they are in. I got FoP on day five, and while I would have rather gotten it for our day 2 visit to AK, I'm just glad I got one at all considering that they are such a hot commodity. I did get one for NRJ on day 2, so we will be able to experience both new rides with a FP. I will probably still watch for any FoP to pop up on day 2 just in case I get an opportunity to swap those.

Everything else that I wanted was available at pretty much the exact times I wanted except for 7DMT, which I couldn't get until 3:25. I'll just check once in a while to see if I can snag an earlier one. Overall, success! Hope everyone else has good luck, too!

AK is day 6 of our trip, so I am liking our chances on FoP, especially since we want it for like 6pm.

Does anyone know if they fixed the FPs so that we can FP for more than one park? It's looking like we won't get our FP for FOP on day 2, so if I get one on day 7 we will have to hop from either Epcot or MK. Wil I lose out on other FPs for that day until after we use the FOP FP?

I just figured out your day 5 would be our day 4 and we want FOP on our day 8 so you have given me hope!

They haven't changed the system yet to allow people to pre-select fp's for more than one park per day.
You would have to use your three fp's for one park before you could book a fp for a different park. But you won't be able to do that ahead of time, only on the same day.
