Yes, it is marathon weekend and Jersey week. I was there the same week last year and had no trouble getting ADRs....I think maybe the difference is the offsite vs onsite. Not sure, but it's frustrating!

Throw Veterans Day in the mix and it's going to be busy. Eve usually go 2-3 times per year and it's never this hard to book rooms. I had a lot of luck with dining but I also had a 9 night stay booked with ADRs not needed until day 5. Otherwise I don't think I would've gotten what I wanted.

Since we're traveling with our ILs this trip we're planning one ADULT night!! The ILs are going to keep the kids (at the hotel or maybe go to DS) and DH and I are going to go back out alone!! We're thinking Epcot. What should we do for dinner? We don't want to spend $$$$$ but want to have a nice adults only night and will likely stay until close (EMH) that night!

I personally love Via Napoli we have made it a must do the last two times. It can get a little loud though.

I think the Wine and Dine Half Marathon is during the time frame that is open for booking ADR's right now, November 02-05. I have heard it gets really busy when this event is on. I am not sure what else might be going on maybe Jersey week? My ADR window opens up this Saturday for our trip that starts November 9. We are not trying Bon Voyage this time but I will check if there is availability after I make our ADR's and report back. I am most nervous for CRT and 'Ohana dinner.

My ADR's opened up today for my 11/8-11/13 trip - here's what I saw for O'Hana (searching for 4 people, not sure what you're looking for):

11/9 - 9:35 pm
11/10 - 9:35 pm
11/11 - 3:35 pm or 8:20 pm
11/12 - 5:15 pm, 6:50 pm, 7:55 pm
11/13 - 5:30 pm, 6:45 pm, 7:05 pm

There was nothing available on those days for CRT at dinner time...

Thank-you so much that was very helpful! I now know to try for CRT first! We are a party of 5 but 'Ohana on the 13th looks promising! I was worried about CRT because there are so many nights MK closes early. I will try for CRT lunch or dinner near the end of our trip. I hope you got all of the ADR's you wanted!

My recommendation when booking ADRs is always to start at the end of your trip and look for the hardest one first, reason being is that people have already booked into the beginning of your trip that arrived up to 10 days before you. I was advised to do that about 5 years ago and have never had any issues since I started doing it. Also if you're not able to get it keep checking especially at the 30 day mark as that is when people usually cancel trips without penalty so spots tend to open up, obviously continue to look daily up until your trip as well but that was a recommendation given to me by a CM.

Got everything we wanted!! Well almost, I couldn't get a late breakfast at Tusker House for my DS's birthday on the 10th but I think he will still like lunch and I will keep checking. The second half of our trip falls after W&D and before FD starts and there is lots open still at 12:00, BOG Dinner, CRT Dinner 'Ohana etc! If anyone else is booking soon there is still lots available!!!

Made our ADRs this morning! I got everything we wanted except BOG dinner...but I did snag an Ohana ADR instead just in case the touringplans reservation finder can't work it's magic. Overall I'm pretty pleased

It's a short trip, so the only day we're at MK is November 12, and we're not doing MVMCP, so it has to be 6:00 or before, and we have five people. It's like a jigsaw puzzle! But I've already put in the info into the touringplans reservation finder and I have six months to find one If I don't, we'll do Ohana (which I already have an ADR for) or Skipper Canteen, depending on what the others in my group want.

I saw limited availability yesterday from November 9-13 but from the 14-17 it was really easy to get ADR's. We'll be there Nov. 10-13, which in terms of crowds is probably a really bad weekend. Jersey Week, end of Food and Wine, Veterans Day weekend, likely filming for the Thanksgiving/Christmas specials but it was the only time that worked with everyone's work schedules, so we'll make the best of it. Thank-you! Good luck to you too on your hunt! I am hoping at 60 days when FP+ opens there will be more availability. I forgot about the Christmas special! I think we are gaining to try to brave the crowds on the 9th at Epcot to try and catch the end of Food and Wine. I think even with all the craziness as long as we have a plan it will still be fun!

Made our ADRs and we go everything we wanted! Now I need to call and try to get a BBB appointment that works with our dining and touring plans. I cannot wait to tell my daughter. As plans get more tangible it's getting harder and harder not to tell her!

Happy to say that all the important parts of our trip planning is done! I got BBB for a little later then I wanted, so our CRT reservation had to be pushed back. After an hour holding on the phone, both are how I want them. Nothing left to do now but wait for 120 days to pass until FP reservations.

You know it's hard to explain to non Disney park people why you have to make reservations for a meal you won't be having for 6 months. Or really why you as an adult love Disney so much. It's so much more than "cartoons".

T-Rex doesn't release all their reservations to Disney so if you're really set on T-Rex call them and make a reservation directly with the restaurant. They'll likely be able to accommodate you.
