OFFICIAL NOVEMBER 2017 THREAD

Hi everyone! I'm joining the thread. We're going November 25-29th and are excited. We're staying at the Poly for 4 nights and planning on attending the MVMCP party on 11/26 and the MK on 11/28. It'll be me, my DH, and DD6 and my DS4. Since we're staying at the Poly I'll try and book both 'Ohana breakfast and dinner ADRs, plus a Bon Voyage breakfast ADR if we can manage. We went last year in early December for 6 straight park days and a ridiculous amount of character meals, so this time we're doing less and making sure to build in more resort and relaxation time.

Getting even more stressed about ADRs. People on FB are saying it's a struggle. I see NOTHING open for Bon Voyage right now.

I'm in the midst of mine right now (staying offsite, so one day at a time) and having a really hard time. Typically we stay onsite but this time we are traveling with another family and they wanted to rent a house. But I've had no luck getting BOG or CRT for our party of 9 so far. I had to split our group into 2 for Garden Grill. I still have 3 more days of ADRs to make, hoping to get Sci Fi and Tusker House. It's definitely been a frustrating experience compared to what I'm used to with staying onsite.

I think the Wine and Dine Half Marathon is during the time frame that is open for booking ADR's right now, November 02-05. I have heard it gets really busy when this event is on. I am not sure what else might be going on maybe Jersey week? My ADR window opens up this Saturday for our trip that starts November 9. We are not trying Bon Voyage this time but I will check if there is availability after I make our ADR's and report back. I am most nervous for CRT and 'Ohana dinner.

Yes, it is marathon weekend and Jersey week. I was there the same week last year and had no trouble getting ADRs....I think maybe the difference is the offsite vs onsite. Not sure, but it's frustrating!

That would be frustrating having to make ADR's one day at a time. I hope you find what you are looking for! Maybe the next couple days will be easier if it is because of The Half marathon. I am not sure how long people who are going for the race stay?

Yep I just realized FD isn't open yet. Between that and Thanksgiving I am stressed LOL

10 days! All I need is 3 or 4, but Bon Voyage is on the top of our list of course

Good luck I hope you get it! I got outvoted on Bon Voyage this year but I am hoping maybe next time,LOL.

Since we're traveling with our ILs this trip we're planning one ADULT night!! The ILs are going to keep the kids (at the hotel or maybe go to DS) and DH and I are going to go back out alone!! We're thinking Epcot. What should we do for dinner? We don't want to spend $$$$$ but want to have a nice adults only night and will likely stay until close (EMH) that night!

What about just sticking with places that are smaller like lounges? And then enjoying an appetizer or small plate from different "worlds"?

Totally unable to get a sit down at Italy for 2 people during dinner time, 3-6 people no trouble though. It's very frustrating. We ended up taking a late lunch at Brown Derby.

I'm there for W&D and check in the 1st and out the 7th. Those whose ADR date was today would be checking in around the 7th. I know I made BOG and Bon Voyage at the end of my trip. Along with W&D and Jersey week there is also Veterans Day, which most schools at least have a teacher workday for so that is probably impacting the ADR availability. I think it's also indicative that there isn't as much of a slow time any more at Disney.

ADRs Monday and I'm at a loss for AK. None of the dining package venues for ROL appeal to either of us, so I guess it's a FastPass, but seeing as the schedule hasn't been released, I'm not even sure if it'll be showing on our AK day.
