OFFICIAL NOVEMBER 2017 THREAD

Hello everyone! Count us in.
Family of 3 coming from PA. Staying at the Dolphin resort from Tues Nov. 28th to Wed Dec. 6th.
This will be our first time coming during Christmas decoration time. Also looking forward to doing our first MVMCP!
Hoping to catch Candlelight Processional with fingers crossed for Neil Patrick Harris as narrator. Oh, and i forgot to mention our 18th wedding anniversary will be during this trip too!
It is still so far away but we can hardly wait!!!!

So, I've been planning for us to go Nov 4-8 and then round out the week at Universal, but the jet blue fares were released today. It would be $500 more for our family of 3 to travel Nov 4-12 v Nov 11-18.

I've been thinking about changing our dates to later Nov or early Dec anyway, because i want to see Christmas decorations. I initially picked our dates because Veterans day would be one less day of leave we had to take. I know a different week could work for me, so i just need to find out about DH's work.

Just venting here since my DH would mock how much I'm obsessing over which dates.

Are you flying out of Philly or Newark by chance? I am waiting for Southwest to release which is May 18th.

We would fly out of either Washington, DC or Baltimore. I'd prefer DC but would drive farther if the price was right. Maybe Southwest will have a better fare. I guess I could try to hold off until then. I think I'm just anxious to do something so the trip will seem "real" if that makes any sense

That is the date on the website but it says "We are currently accepting air reservations through November 3, 2017. On May 18, 2017 we will open our schedule for sale through
January 7, 2018. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently."

Thank you I did see where it says now accepting reservations through 11/3/17. Didn't see the other though. Is that from the web site I was looking on the app ?

My family will be there Nov 11-19. Staying at Pop. It's a first trio for my 3 yo daughter and 1 year old son. My daughter (6 yo) and I were fortunate enough to do a mommy daughter trip this past February. Hubby, who normally doesn't care much for Disney, suddenly got the Disney itch and wanted a trip for the whole family. I'm not complaining! 2 trips in 1 year... I am blessed.

They frequently change the date, as the post states check back often.

This time it's very unlikely to change. Southwest is converting to a new booking/scheduling system, this is the change over date. Very inside baseball, but this is what I've heard.

Well, I'll have to leave this group. I switched our reservation to September instead. I'm looking forward to seeing the mouse sooner and saving some money but disappointed about potentially missing the opportunity for the MVMCP. We attended MNSSHP last year during our Aug/Sep trip.

On the plus side, this late start means it's ADR time already!

* September 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26 and 29, 2017
* October 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29 and 31, 2017

Wish me luck as I try to add an extra day on our current reservation! When I search for the "new" week Nov. 12-18 it shows standard room unavailable but when I search for just the night the standard room is available.

Whoo hoo I'm excited about the Christmas party dates! We were already planning on Nov 28th based on last years schedule and I had already had it on my schedule! YAY no reworking there!
