***Official November 2016 Thread***

I'm trying to get a better time for an Akershus meal, but no luck so far! Luckily that's the only change I'm working on :) I've started some packing and I still need to get a couple things, but I feel much more prepared for this trip than the last one! I think since we were just there last year, we're not feeling as much pressure to do specific things.

I'm still trying desperately for a FEA FP+ on 11/16. We're only going to be at Epcot until about 1pm or so, and the only FP+ available when I booked was in the evening. My daughter is 4 and a huge Frozen fan, so I'm hoping to snag one.

Are you planning to hit Epcot at RD? I've heard the line for FEA first thing isn't too bad. Also if you hit a wait time of 30-45 minutes you may get lucky and wait less. In Aug. DH and I got in a line with a posted 45 min. wait, at about 11:30, and waited 23 minutes.

Crowds have been crazy high for most of October.....last week I have been stalking the lines App...

Wait times of 2-3 hours for some headliners.......

A good plan will be needed if it stays that way through NOV. With park hours being added and all the refurbs...my guess is long waits will continue. We have just decided to chill out. My kids are older and have done most of the rides, so its not a huge deal. But still disappointing to see these crowds during the "slower" season".

Make sure to get those FP+ for afternoon and Morning....good news is many FP left for later in the day

Agreed - I'm expecting it to be the same or worse than last year crowd-wise. We're planning on touring hard in the mornings, reservations for all lunches (so no unpredictability with QS waits), and taking it easy until heading back to the condo midday. I'm still hopeful for a great trip!

I wish! We'll be out at MVMCP the night before, so we won't be getting up too early. We're going to Epcot just for our Akershus lunch and the Frozen attractions and then hopping over to HS. So, we'll be there just midday unfortunately. I'll keep checking MDE for FP+ times, but I think we'll just have to deal with the waits. I hope it's not crazy busy!

I went with a party of 6 once and we sat two to a row, but we definitely had our own car. I bet you will either put two in the front and one in the middle or each have your own row.

How about you guys? Anything you are trying to add last minute?

I think we are good with our ADR's even though I continue to check availability daily...:rolleyes1
I still need to purchase movie tickets when it gets a little closer. We love the AMC Dine-in Theatre in Disney Springs. DD wants to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Dr. Strange.

We feel the same way no stress just relax and remember we are on vacation :cloud9: We have FP's for our favorites and ADR's so the rest will be icing on the cake.

My invites are ready...I'm going to roll them up (like a scroll), put their Magic Band around it, then put it in one of those trick or treat bags that some people use to fill with candy. Tie some ribbon around it....and sneak it into their ToT bags at the end of the night. Then when they dump all their candy out, they will see them (and hopefully don't throw them aside thinking it's something boring like candy corn, lol).

19 days until my husband and I leave!! He's not a huge Disney fan but he gave this trip to me as a birthday present. So it's nice to be on a discussion board with people who are just as excited as me! I spent time yesterday researching the food booths at Epcot Food and Wine festival and choosing all the food I want to eat! popcorn::I love going at this time of year when I can experience the food and wine festival and experience some Christmas decorations!:santa:

That is so cool!! I know they will love it! I would love to surprise my kids like, on the way to the airport. "OH, we're not going to school today, we're going to Disney World!" Maybe next time.
