So we've decided how we're going to tell our girls.

We're waiting until they get home from school the day before we leave (we'll be up and at the airport super early, so we can't do it the morning of). We are going to give each of them an individual 'early Christmas gift' to open up. We're putting the magic bands in the boxes as well as these large buttons/wearable pins I made on zazzle.com that say "We're going to Disneyworld!" with the Disney princesses on them. We're going to throw in their Disney pin lanyards and let the chaos ensue once they figure it out!!

Not sure if anyone else has discovered Zazzle, but I was able to make the pins for an extremely reasonable price, they're super cute, and we can use them for years to come as well as wear them in Disney and on the plane! (This was my inexpensive solution to buying personalized shirts for the whole family.)

That sounds awesome! I am sure they will be super excited. I will have to check out the pins. My best friend and I are surprising our boys as well. But I have not worked out the details yet.

Me and my DFI is planning our Disneymoon in November so we can experience all the Christmas stuff We'll probably stay at POFQ with the free dining like we did last time, as we loved that resort I can't wait, 21 days in Florida is the plan

Hubby and I and daughter, sil, 3 gks all will be in November. Hubby and I will be at CBR from Nov. 18th to the 26th. Daughter, son in law, 3 kids will be at the Poly from 20th to the 27th. Hope it is not super crowded at that time (the 18th to 26th). Can't wait - LOVE November! Will be staying at AoA November 21-24. With our schedules (I teach and Mom works retail), we thought this would be the best way to work it out. We went for an extended weekend in December once, but still missed seeing the Osborne lights at HS. Rumors are always floating around that the lights will be gone, so we're going to see them before they can be. (It may, of course, just turn out to be a convenient excuse to go...)

thanks. it'll be our first time in january. a little concerned about it being a bit cool and not using the pool, but really excited to go.

we've done october and november where the weather was about perfect for us. a few days in november were a bit chilly. we did september. that was too hot.

I know weather can vary, but when we were there it was mid 80s. Chilly in the morning but very warm by mid-day. We did get some pool time. So keep your fingers crossed. Good luck.

We are so looking forward to our trip the week before Thanksgiving! My sister's family is joining us for a total of 10! I had heard about the Osborne lights, but I wasn't sure if it was a separate time to go see them outside of park hours, or if they're just every night. Thanks for any help!

The lights are every night. They keep them on until about an hour after park closing.

Going to be there for Thanksgiving. This is my third trip there for Thanksgiving and next time it wont be 7 years before we go back
