Booked the Holiday Tour and Fantasmic! Dessert Package first thing this morning. The only thing left to do now is work on packing lists! Woo hoo!

Had to share my excitement that my photopass+ says its out for delivery right now. My spibelt (a running belt) for the Avengers Half is also out for delivery right now.

20 days, things are starting to be real!!

Now I just have to finish my outfit for the race.

I am not sure what to expect for general decorations around the park. But on Friday, October 17th, we saw a substantial amount of holiday season merchandise available for sale. So at the very least, you'll be able to get a bit of Christmas in the stores.

I know a lot of people dislike having such merchandise out for sale so long before the official date of Christmas. But we were actually pleased to see it. For those that won't be able to visit the parks again this year, it's nice that there is still a chance to pick up holiday-themed items for gifts or use later this season.

That will be great for us!

Woo hoo!!!! I'll have to go stalk the webcam! This will be my first ever Disney holiday experience! I bet it's magical! 28 days until I see it in person!

This is the one ride my daughter has said she HAS to ride. I've decided that if it's open than we will do it right before we go back to the hotel for a break so we can change.

I'm trying to plan out our days and put together a touring plan. My kids love Splash Mountain. However, with traveling over Thanksgiving, I'm wondering if we'll even do that ride. I can imagine walking around wet when it's chilly. Does anyone have any experience with water rides in that time of year?

Our last big trip I bought it about 3 weeks out. This time I bought it last week, so about 5 weeks out.

As I am done planning, I have started my re-thinking the plans I have made to keep me busy

I'm thinking about taking a taxi instead of the bus.from La Jolla to the train station to get to Anaheim.
Pro: Can get an earlier train to be in Anaheim earlier. (1 hour by bus or 30 minutes by taxi)
Con: Bus is about $3, Taxi about $50.

I won a trip to Disneyland on our local Christian radio station
We will be in Disneyland November 20-23rd at the Disneyland hotel!
Been to WDW 10-12 times but first time to DL!!! Sooooo excited! Just hope I can absorb it all in 3.5 days!

Trying to get a few costumes for my twins made to wear. Made an Elsa for dd, going to make an Anna, Alice (her favorite costume but the one in my screenname picture has gotten too small) and Briar Rose for her and ds threw in a request for Jack Sparrow. So those should keep me busy until it's time to go!

We will be there Nov 2-5 celebrating my sons 18th birthday ! Staying at the Anaheim Hilton.

Will be there just for Nov 12th. Will take the train up from San Diego that morning and then will stay at the CCI that night. I am going with my mom! I think it has been 14years since I was at DLR with her!
