I just received my Passholder newsletter and I was pleasantly surprised. It talks about replacing your paper ticket with a plastic RFID one. But then if you click through, it says this:
What Will MyMagic+ Do for Passholders?

So the part that interests me is the bold part. Three times they use the words "in the coming months". But in that paragraph about FP+ they say later this year. I can't think they would use that wording unless that's what they are really intending.
I'm assuming that after the current test period (to Oct 31), the resorts that are currently using MB will continue to do so. And presumably they'll add the rest. But I wasn't really expecting rollout to Passholders until after all the resorts. Seems like they're committed to a really aggressive schedule. Though it isn't fully clear from this notice whether we'll bet MB and FP+ or just FP+ with our RFID cards. Not that I care in the slightest about the MB.
It will still probably come too late for my early Nov trip. But I did see that some November resort guests are getting FP+ options on
MDE, even though that's past the stated test period.
